Sheikh Ahmed Hussein Deedat (Rehmatullah Alaihi) (1918 - 2005), was a Muslim scholar of Comparative religion, an author, lecturer, and an orator. He was best known for inter-religious public debates. He was awarded King Faisal International Prize in 1986.

One of the most admirable achievements of Shiekh was his uncontoversial position among all Muslim groups around the World.
