I wish the same. I don't know of enough history (just a bit) to pass a judgment on anything about the separation. But I do think Imran will prefer national interest over his political interests. Otherwise, he would have been in power during Musharraf's reign and at least been in the assembly with sizeable number of seats (which were being offered to him by Nawaz Sharif as early as 97). He's never served under a military ruler as Bhutto did. Instead, Imran has preferred to struggle for 15 years in the opposition rather than be part of any corrupt government. That's called not compromising on principles. There are a lot of similarities between Bhutto and Imran, notably the emphasis on self reliance and sovereignty and support among the youth. But there are differences as well...

being in or not in the government doesn't really matter the way you think you see. Take example of Leghari, who boycotted the elections. May be he did right it was emotionally correct the government had been corrupt so he boycotted, but now, no-one knows leghari, because when Pakistan needed him he wasn't ther.

Similarly Imran Khan, he might be saying great words for his country, he may be a total representative of the people of Pakistan (the less knowing most of the people of Pakistan) but he is practically not doing anything for his country except for Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital for which I gratefully appreciate him. So emotionally he is correct for boycotting the elections but practically he has betrayed the country that is in trouble at the moment. And I don't expect him to be so wise politically because he's not a politician. So, he is a good man, but he isn't a good politician. And He can't run a country!

And Mr. Khan, if you're reading this, I want to say to you that this is a country for God's sake, not a cricket team, and in this field, losing is not an option.

Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto exploited the youth of Pakistan, now Imran khan is exploiting it...

I'm 29 years old. But I think that people of the age 40 and above should be allowed to vote only, so that no exploiter, emotional or religious black-mailer gets to the throne.
Where did u even get this idea from dude [hilar][hilar][hilar]. According to you all under 40 years old are dumb and cannot judge between right or wrong.:lol:

HAHAHAH..........By the way no logic in your saying, but could you tell me what did you do and what do you want to do for Pakistan Mr Emotionless person?

These were emotions which let the creation of Pakistan and Iqbal like people had played a big to create such emotions in Muslims.

An emotionless person is actually a senseless person.

The act of QUAID e Azam was 'awareness' but the act of Imran? No it is exploitation
See, how easy it is to just 'say' it
We have one 'exploiter' just like you, in every thread, and we are fully 'aware' of it:angry_smile:

LOL! I wish you were aware of the exploiters outside this forum too!!!

Politics ke pechhay ya aik achhay jumlay ke peechhay ya aik taxi ya aik ghee ke dabbay ya aik raffles ticket ke peechhay mai Pakistan ko bechnay wala nahi houn InshaALLAH

So you want him to be practical or take a stand on principles? He's taken a stand on principles and that is why people respect him. The previous elections were held in a rigged environment and it was basically meant to perpetuate the American hegemony through the NRO. If he had taken part in it, you'd have accused him of betraying his principles notably that of Insaf, for which he has been struggling. That may not have been a politically correct decision. But it was a principled one and I respect him for that.

How can he practically do anything for the country when he's not in government or even in the assemblies? You talk about Shaukat Khanum, don't forget Namal University, the first private sector university in a rural area and his work in gathering Pakistanis together during the devastating floods last year.

"He can't run a country!" - That's a sweeping statement. In my opinion, Pakistan needs an honest person at the top and you yourself admit he's a good man. So after all the plunder and loot at the hands of so-called "experienced" politicians who have made a mess of "running the country" don't you think Imran at least deserves a chance to prove himself? After all he has established Shaukat Khanum as a proper institution, with checks and balances and meritocracy and rule of law. Even the chowkidar follows the law of the hospital, because Imran Khan himself does. Is it not worth it to give him a chance to introduce the same meritocracy and rule of law, in all our state institutions?

If Imran is not the answer, then pray tell me who is? I'm eagerly waiting...

Could you please define awareness?

Without emotion nothing can possible. Every difficult work is done with emotions Mr. All the religion is based on emotion. Without emotion we can't love our Prophet, out religion, or even out country.

Though you are claiming your "Love" for Pakistan but don't know the meaning of emotions.

Emotions are great but they should work under the brain... brain should not work under emotions... yehi Islam ke ta'leemat hain, yehi hamai hamaray Auliyah (RahmatuLLAH alaihim ajma'een) ne sikhaya hai, ke apnay nafs ka tazkiya aur uss per qabi rakha ja'ay aur ALLAH ke ibadat ke ja'ay!
