Police added that the officers killed, Sub Lt Iqbal and Dr Shazia, were residents of Defence Society, while the sailor Umer Farooq was married and a resident of Chakwal (Punjab) and driver Mohammed Sharif was a resident of Lyari.

Talking to media representatives, the chief minister said there was information regarding a terrorism incident in the metropolis following which, security was beefed up at sensitive installations and areas.
However, despite this, the terrorist attacks on the PN buses were not easy to be prevent without prior credible information, he contended.
Qaim said millions of people were living in the city and hundreds of thousands of vehicles ply daily, therefore it is not possible to check every vehicle. The chief minister said they were busy in planning a comprehensive strategy to tackle target killings in the metropolis, in which they have made significant progress.
Tehrike Taliban (I don't use word pakistan with them, Hamara Pakistan Napaak ho jaye ga) go to USA, Israel and India. You are Haramis and you will be thrown into eternally burning hell fire.
