why ASWJ is banned in pakistan and not deobands ?
deoband has become a strong force in pakistan after afghan war. They get financial assistance from saudi arabia to build mosque and madrasas. they also have strong power in politics too, jui f of maulana fazul ur rehman and jamat e islami are two deobands political parties. So it is not easy to ban them. Moreover, pak army like deobands after afghan war . U will be shocked to know every mosque in contonment areas has a deoband imam and tableeghi jamat used to give dars to army officers but after the attacks on army istallation in which army officers was also involved due to the brain washing of the tableeghi jamat it was banned in contonment areas.
