I know this suggestion will go down the drain as it is coming from representative of a corrupt regime.
But to be honest what he is saying is right. Do a research urself on the net or ask a doctor and he/she will explain as how harmful sugar is for our health. I wish all the Pakistanis have this awareness and it will solve lot of health related issues that occur due to eating too much sweats.

Sugar is the cheapest source of calorie intake. A poor labour in Pakistan recovers his calories by taking sugar.

The best solution,
whole Pakistan should boycott SUGAR for a week, and then see those who are talking, sugar can't be sold on 40 Rs. these people will be begging public to buy on 20Rs.
Problem is our people create problem for them selves, Now I am looking for a single leader, who should advise public to boycott, rather than keep fighting for Musharaf trial or 1992 operation. Do something which lead something better towards the public.
Best solution stop buying those commodities, which Government them self couldn't control, how pity.

WHAT IF IT COSTS 44 RUPEES TO PRODUCE ONE KG? 5 RUPEES IS TAX. THEY SHOULD SELL FOR 49. THEY WILL NOT MAKE ANY PROFIT. WHY WOULD THEY BE IN BUSINESS.

Bagairat siasatdaan yeh bhi unn sey cheenana chahtey hein. That is an extremely shameful statement where majority of pakistanis living under the poverty line.
