yes, the new format is more confusing. Change should always mean progress. This is not really the case with this change of format.

I also protest bcoz the old format was very easy and freuindly but the new formate is very confusing.. I spending my most of the internet time in siasat.pk but when the new look arrived i am now not visiting here bcoz when i want to se a thread is very very confusing... Admins should have taken some feedback before ...... switching to the new format......instead of taking a whimsical decision of such a major change. It is the users whose visits declare the success or failure of web presences like these, not the admins and moderators. To develop the interest of user and make him stay there is of such a great importance that PHD is being offered and done in the field of "Human Computer Interface" i.e HCI. Remember navigational ease, accessibility, visibility, and scalability are the key to the success of any web presence.

On the other hand I happened to read few introductory words from the management thread started by [MENTION=23179]TruPakistani[/MENTION] that was not accessible to normal users like us.....which stayed a while on the front page. It was admitted therein "Majority of user/members are not accepting/liking the new format.....but a change is always resisted at first and later on accepted".

Remember it is the user feedback which is the only authority on the basis of which interfacing decision are taken by even the giants like Microsoft and others in the field......not the on the basis of some developer/coder's liking/disliking.

Admin of siasat.pk would do what it thinks right. They will never consider your opinion. Actually they are a kind of dictators. This time they have committed suicide.

Popularity of siasat.pk was due to previous formate because it was user friendly. One could easly scan the ongoing discussions just in one page without loosing time. Now every one is flying away from it. It is very hard to navigate in discussion forums. It is now more like wAtching programme website like awaztoday.com. The discussion part is gone now. And that's what siasat.pk administration wanted.
