I am noticing a new vulgar and obscene trend on Pakistans TV channels that women presenters are dressing up like western women wearing skirts, tight jeans, low neck blouses and thin clothes showing their flesh and trying to look sexy instead of moderate and decent. They are encouraging other Pakistani women and young girls to abandon our culture, traditions and Islamic way of life and adopt western immoral and secular (ladeeniat) way of life and habits. More and more of them speak English on their programmes as if they are the memsahibs of Pakistan and the modern ladies rebelling against the religious boundaries.

Our society is taken over by these cheap and immoral pop musicians, fashion models and now westernized pretending, behaving and English speaking TV presenters.

The TV moguls are only interested in commercialism, materialism, sensationalism on their channels and trying to exceed their air ratings, and in doing so are showing on the air vulgar and immoral Indian and western shows so that they make maximum profits. They are polluting our society showing every trash, rubbish and vulgarity and are responsible for the increase of crimes, immorality, decadence and abandonment of our Islamic values, cultures and traditions.


Copying western immoral and vulgar way of life is not a sign of progress or cultural advancement but it is degradation of our thousands years old cultural values and traditions. In the West every birth in three is illegitimate; one marriage in four ends up in divorce; every young girl and boy age 8-10 carries contraceptives and condoms in their pockets; young girls 8-10 are even giving illegitimate births; every women in five is a whore; every man, woman, boy and girl is engaged in open air sex like animals; every one in five is a drug addict; gay men and lesbian women marry each other; same hole sex is a normal way of life; every second of an hour a woman is raped; children are molested and physically abused by strangers and own relatives; incest is so common as an epidemic; West has the highest crime rate in the world and if this what Pakistani TV channels are trying to sell to our youth and future generations; it is the greatest shame and insult to our Islamic way of life. Look at dancing eunics (khusras) in the streets, legally allowed red market (hera Mandi) are interwooven in the fabrics of our society. We are corrupt as a nationa, that is why we never vote to a person who is ameen and sadiq (not corrupt). u have done the right diagnosis but dear, it was a surface level article. u said sumthin about Heera Mandi. wahan tou wohi log jatay hain jo jana chahtay hain whereas TV tou her aadmi he dekhta hai. U talked about Zia's revolution. All milittary dictators are shallow as are their steps and developments. It was a fake. Zia already had an example of Ayat-ullah Khumeine. He could have worked on that but the problem was that Khumeini had no American pressure while Army dictators in our country work under American commands. Khumeini had made a brilliant law. He had announced rewards for those who married the prostitutes and also announced gr8 rewards for those prostitutes who were ready to give up their hedious profession. I agree with this thread all the way. We in Canada noticed that women in TV shows of ARY channel are slowly reducing their clothes. In one show they showed a young man and woman in their bedroom sitting on the bed. I was away but my wife drew myattention and said ' They are testing water now to guage viewership and check if there is any protest. Very soon you will see them sleeping together under blanket'

They are already wearing high pants which is going to end at knees soon and then they will be wearing shorts and only bras.

sad thing is that ARY is owned by Haji Abdul Razzaq Yaqub, Haji AbdulRaheem Yaqub, and Haji Abdul Rauf Yaqub.

swinging a lot and a batman has always only one choice. Things which are totally difficult to achieve should not be one people's mind, like Khalifat, it is just a name, like kingdom nothing else. Do not see those things: Ignore them. Earn Dollars/Euros which is the main "objective" of everyone in overseas:. Rest "Tell the believing men and women to lower their gaze........" and mind your own-business is good principle. Do not reform or wish to reform their societies and be strict to your own values.

However, we can't do it individually. This trend can be curbed by Govt. of Pakistan only. We need to choose good! leaders in order to get rid of this from our society.
