Sochta Pakistan with Moeed Pirzada - 11th February 2012 - Baluchistan: Injustice or foreign involvem

How do the Sirdars of Baluchistan treat their own people? Like animals, so what about human rights in that context?

It is a good idea that Baluchis are invited on national TV and I think more of them should be invited and allowed to vent their feelings and anger.

One thing I really like about these Baluch leaders is that they are patient and wait for their turn and used decent language. Kudos to them for that.

If government is not doing enough then what is JUI and Fazal-ur-Rehman doing protecting the government?

Lashkari is right that foreign powers are exploiting the issue and Baluchis are also responsible for the killings along with the government agencies.

President is not interested in starting dialogue. It is true that all standards for the induction of government employees are lower for the residents of Baluchistan which raises the question of capacity.

75 carore rupees given to each district elected member = 1625 car ore rupees, and what happened to that money? It went into their pockets.
So who will tell the people of Baluchistan about this misappropriation.

Punjab has given from it's share in the CSS and other government agencies what about that?

Bugti used to do the same, blow up pipelines to cause problems for the people and screamed about Mehroomi.

Dialogue kaun karay ga? Funny.Government is supposed to do that, no?

Air Marshal is right. All that could be done was not done.

Levis=95%, with 5% police and some FC which is under the interior minister, AMAZING . Now all those SUPER informed members on the internet who blame army should at least have some regrets and some orientation improvement.

Even Army is under Defense Ministry for that matter. In the same way as East Pakistan, our media has failed to represent the other side of the news totally. Forced abductions, killings, arrests and torture stories are a daily business. You can say I am misinformed but go to this newspaper website and SEE people's names, addresses and details.

If it is all under the government, why is it that the Chief Minister has at least twice offered resignations saying he doesn't have powers?
Why were all the Baloch newspapers banned in Pakistan ON THE INFORMATION of MI, as stated by PTA. Note that no objections were raised on any story or article, but ALL newspapers from balochistan were banned together. Why?
Is it just a coincidence that most people being killed, arrested or tortured belonged to a liberation party? These numbers are in thousands now.
Government is easier to criticize since they are an easy target. Blame Zardari, and you'll be a hero. But DO think about it with a cool-head, why? Why almost all the people being killed belong to the liberation movement?

According to a WikiLeaks cable release, in a briefing given by ISI during a closed joint session summoned by President Asif Ali Zardari to address the security situation in Pakistan, it was told that India, Russia and the United Arab Emirates are involved in the insurgency in Balochistan. India has established nine training camps along the Afghan border, where they were training members of the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), and the UAE was supporting the insurgency in opposition to the construction of Gwadar port, is said in the cable, which was sent from the United States Embassy in Islamabad in October, 2008.

Read your own post according to you everything is under the control of the government, so you are accepting that the government is responsible for the fiasco and Army is under the control of PM (and NOT MOD directly FYI) so what is your point in the end?

Why the CM did not resign? He should have if he does not have the powers, because he enjoys being the CM?

Why all the newspapers were banned? ask the government to explain, do not just start to blame because it is easy to blame the Army and you will appear to be very brave.

Why should there be any liberation parties in the first place? I am surprised that instead of criticizing their existence you are defending them?

Who is responsible for killing hundreds of non-Baluchis living in Baluchistan? Senator Lashari Raisaani has accepted that militant Baluchis are killing them? You have an explanation for that? No one mentions those poor innocent people and you have a lot of sympathy for those who are murderers or belong to parties which bear arms! Amazed I am!
You seem confused, you need to do some more homework and if my saying so offends you I am sorry, but I can not be dishonest and patronizing!
