ISLAMABAD: PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Husain telephoned Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain and sought time to resolve issues, Geo News reported.

Altaf asked Chaudhry Shujaat to join MQM on opposition benches, while PML-Q leader sought 12 hours to bridge the differences.

Altaf invites Shujaat to join opposition

MQM chief Altaf Hussain has invited PML-Q’s Chaudhry Shujaat to join the Opposition.


Altaf contended that he would not revert the decision of parting ways with government.

After quitting the government, Altaf and Chaudhry talked over the phone. The MQM chief said that he had taken the decision after much deliberation.
