..........Shame on our Government (PM and Ghaddari), who has declared Sania as Official Guest and spent alot of Poor Tax payer money on her Dinner and stay in Five Star hotel. I don't think she should be given so much importance alteast after her statement when she says that she would support India in any Pak-India match and she just want the wife of Shoab and not the "Bahu" of Pakistan........Shame on all those as well who went to Airport to welcome her, and Sani and Shoab deceived them (like they always do) by not showing their faces to public. I strongly condemn all these.
Sania is so proud that she doesn't give importance to Shoaib even. In one of her statement she said that she would never change her name from Sania Mirza to Sani Shoaib. She was very angry on public and security staff on Karachi Airport as well and said that "Security is late in Pakistan like in India". I don't think this marriage would go long in such case where Wife is Sani Mirza......

I don't blame Shoaib & Sania asking for money. Media cashing in on their wedding and they simply want a little chunk.

I respect and regard everyone who is representing Pakistan in any form of sports including Cricket. But someone who was in his 5th grade when Pakistan won the world cup, following Cricket meant following people like Imran Khan, Miandad, Double W's, Saeed Anwar, Inzi etc etc. So, not sure if I would agree with Shoaib's being a hero as far as I am concerned.
In the last 15 years or so, we have become more materialistic society as a whole. In my personal opinion, most of the present players don t have the potential to handle the money and fame that comes their way with this sports. Therefore, we have all sorts of problems.
Our Media though very proud of itself, has a long way to go forward. I hope they learn from these experiences. We as a Nation unlike US or West, are not capable of focusing our attention about what our celebrities or players are wearing, where they are going to go for summer, having a kid or not, etc etc. as we have so many important issues to cater for, the issues that are a potential threat to our existence.
