لاہور ہائی کورٹ نے آشیانہ ہاؤسنگ اسکیم، صاف پانی اور رمضان شوگر ملز کیسز میں شہباز شریف کی درخواست ضمانت منظور کر لی ہے ۔

ان کی درخواست کی سماعت دو ہفتے جاری رہی ۔ دو رکنی بنچ نے سماعت کی۔

واضح رہے کہ نیب لاہور نے گزشتہ سال 5 اکتوبر کو سابق وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب شہباز شریف کو صاف پانی کیس میں طلب کیا تھا، تاہم اُن کی پیشی پر انہیں آشیانہ اقبال ہاؤسنگ کیس میں کرپشن کے الزام میں گرفتار کرلیا گیا۔ گرفتاری کے دوسرے روز ہی انہیں احتساب عدالت میں پیش کیا گیا، جہاں جج نجم الحسن نے شہباز شریف کو 10 روزہ جسمانی ریمانڈ پر قومی احتساب بیورو (نیب) کے حوالے کرتے ہوئے سماعت ملتوی کی۔

یہاں یہ بات بھی قابل ذکر ہے کہ آشیانہ اقبال ہاؤسنگ اسکیم میں لاہور ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی کے سابق ڈائریکٹر جنرل احد چیمہ اور سابق وزیراعظم نواز شریف کے قریبی ساتھی اور سابق پرنسپل سیکریٹری فواد حسن فواد پہلے ہی گرفتار کیے جاچکے ہیں۔

پنجاب حکومت نے مارچ 2013 میں کم آمدنی والے سرکاری ملازمین کو گھر فراہم کرنے کے لیے پیراگون ہاؤسنگ سوسائٹی میں آشیانہ ہاؤسنگ اسکیم کا منصوبہ بنایا تھا جس کے تحت چھ ہزار چار سو گھر تعمیر کیے جانے تھے۔
