Dubai already ran out of oil a long time ago. Now they have gas, tourism and prostitution.
Abu Dhabi may have a stable supply until 2020.
Other major UAE state is Sharjah and its neighbour Ajman. They have ports and industry. Some times there is load shedding in Ajman and Sharjah.

Currently the Global production of Oil stands around 80~90 Million barrels of crude per day. Suppose there is a growth of 2% in demand, that makes it a demand of 110 million barrels of Oil per day in 10 years (After extracting oil at higer rates for the next 9 years)

To extract ever increasing oil from Earth is getting expensive in terms of energy, point to a a very clear trend in Energy Input/output ratio to extract oil. Shale extraction is a prime example that its not longer easy to extract oil anymore.
Look up Peak Oil in Wiki.. Its explains the concept pretty well.

US can print dollar much faster than Saudis can extract Oil or VW can produce Audis. Question, is how long can they continue... If it is cant sustain, it wont sustain...
And Pakistan has gas and coal reserves for the next 10,000 years...

I know you'll be happy to prevent people from calling you out on ignorance and foolishness.
By far, the most hysterical thing I've come across on this site is that you'll be educating people on economics 101 or from econ for dummies. Your basic-level educational lectures are far surpassed by almost all who choose to ignore your 15 minutes of fame just as I will be, soon, along with this site.
Information, knowledge and understanding towards economics, accounting and business are being taught in elite universities like LUMS and IBA and kids from these schools are getting a better education than people such as yourself, in America, upon the funding of Americans themselves due to the academic excellence in achieving what you can't even dream of.
We don't hear from them but we hear from you and people like the person who liked your comment due to the basic concept summarized in the phrase, "empty vessel makes the loudest sound"
Kindly get some education yourself prior to taking upon the mammoth and indefinite task of educating the most ignorant group of people clumped together in an artificial state made in the pretext of religion and divided in the name of ethnicity.
May our universities truly become elite and pass on true knowledge and more importantly the spirit and enthusiasm for a never ending quest for truth and knowledge.
May our education system actually becomes successful in generating mass human development to the highest order.
May our universities also teach us the ethics of disagreement and ethics of argumentation.

May our imported people who live as second class citizens in the States stop trying to treat their own kind as third class citizens.
May our unwanted people stop trying to use their purchasing power on their own people to influence them to accept them as superiors when they clearly aren't even worth flipping burgers.
May our wastes of human life learn that if their place isn't in the homes of Caucasians, it most definitely isn't in the homes of people of their own kind as both communities consist of civilized humans whereas they are not even humans ("civilized" is a long shot).
May these opportunistic, self-appointed leaders in every field understand that they have no credibility or wisdom through which credibility or respect is gained. It is not ignorance of the "masses" that is stopping them from being the next Jinnah, it is their lack of wisdom and maturity.
May these fools get this through their heads that people much smarter than them exist and they don't need to project their feeling of achievement onto others as they aren't the only ones who have achieved something or gained knowledge that they didn't have before. Just because they gained this knowledge just now doesn't mean others don't have it or didn't have it from before.
May this ill-founded arrogance die a slow and painful death just as their egos so our communities based abroad and at home, can achieve something like other immigrant communities.
May these shallow characters lose all interest in "community organizing" and "community building" so Pakistanis, at home and abroad can finally achieve successes in which these self-imposed morons have been an impediment.
May they realize their worth and lose this false sense of superiority so those that deserve to lead based on humility, stability and intelligence can lead so bridges can be built with other communities and progress can be achieved. These people have only been counter-productive, contrary to their belief that their handshakes with popular people means that they are definitely doing something right.
May their children not feel pride in the false notion of superiority instilled into them by those who think they are the ones who achieved whatever they did while it was Allah who gave it to them and can give it to others, as well, if He chooses, just as He gave it to the self-styled "demi-gods", in question.

I like your point but its very serious issue. Biogas is very cheap and economical means of getting gas.
We should go for it which will help us not to depend of natural gas supply and reduce our expenses.

I hope that IBA or LUMS is a better school than the State Uni I went to. But I seriously doubt that. Academia with its Efficient Market Theory, its Bell Curve probability distribution, its CAPM and Options pricing models... yahi sab parte hounge na? Talk is cheap. When all this intellect is put to test, you get "Long Term Capital Management" . I am glad I was trading before I took my 1st Finance class. I am privileged that the country I live in has the world's biggest Capital markets. So you see, I am a student of the market. Markets have taught me there's no such thing as an "independent supply and demand" curves. Markets have taught me there is no such thing as an Equilibrium point. If LUMS teaching all this, then hats off to that institution and that they are far ahead of Wharton, Princeton , LSE and Chicago school.
So why dont you hear from the LUMS and IBA folks? Mujhe kya pata.. Maybe you should ask them.

The only hilarious thing about you (among many others) is that you're preaching about American Exceptionalism while also being pro-Iran, help me figure that out?
Goes to show how aligned you are to the foreign policy of your own nation and it's ally, Israel.
Personally, I couldn't care less about where you were educated but the point is that you were trying to allude to the fact that those who also have an understanding of economics are not here discussing what you're discussing, means, according to you, that no one else knows or other people don't obviously exist.
On the contrary, the fact is that they don't have free time on their hands as they would rather work in the marketplace of which you claim to be an expert but probably couldn't even get an MBA.
Also, not only did I clarify that there are thousands of Pakistani students that have had an opportunity to attend Ivy League universities (where you couldn't get accepted, instead you went out and barely passed a Bachelor's degree in economics from a "state school" for which you have pride because of reasons listed below), they are also attending these schools at the expense of the Americans, themselves, through scholarships, granted to the students for their academic excellence (something you didn't have because you were busy being an expert, rather a "valedictorian" stocks guy at E-trade).
So I am going to assume, based on your attitude and logic, that you're the only person in your family to have had an education as there is no other reason for your sense of pride and arrogance in an education that more than one person has.
Lastly, your claim that I have a "beef" and assumptions regarding my way of thinking is comical at best, and schizophrenic, at worst.
P.S. I shall be making sure you get put in your place as it is obvious that others will not be taking the time to do so.
