NA-56 is only part of Rawalpindi, and not whole Rawalpindi, but i think that concerened MPA's and MNA's should always be there for their people, although i am not sure if this incident happened in the vicinity of NA-56, and if it did then IK should be there.

IK is the mna of NA 56 and most of the tension is in the NA55 and some areas of NA 54.....there are imam barghas in commercial market that is in NA 56 but there was nothing there..i personally visited that area

In press conference Rana Sahab asked for resignation of CM KPK he said he should immediately resign on what happening in Punjab.
He said this unfortunate that there no Dramabaz CM like shahbaz sharif because he only take notice but do nothing.. He appreciated CM Shabaz Sharif for peaceful Ashura in KPK....(bigsmile)

Imran Khan is MNA from NA 56.

Fawara Chowk is in NA 55 and actually Shaikh Rasheed is the MNA from there.

Yesterday, during the attack on mosque and later in the evening when rioting started, Shaikh Rasheed or local MPA Jazi Khan were nowhere to be seen. The only politician who was trying to talk to angry mobs and keep them peaceful was Malik Abrar, MNA from NA 54.

The curfew has been imposed in areas coming under NA 54, 55 and 56.
