Re-instate Suspended FIA officials and PM should apologise

No where in the world would a prime minister could have sacked or suspended an officer of the government for performing his//her duty in accordance to the law and regulations of the land.

If NRO beneficiaries are prohibited (and they should be) to travel abroad on private or official visits by the Supreme Court of Pakistan, then the ruling must be observed and carried out by the authorities.

I believe that PM behaved like a feudal lord and a dictator to suspend government servants on his whim. It is an absurdity of the PM to defend his dictatorial action, and the honourable thing for him would be reinstate the officials and apologize to the nation for his rude impetuosity. I am often surprised that the Pakistani politicians preach democracy but are often the worst violators of the law and human rights and dignity.

In the West, a policeman can stop the prime minister for breaking even a minor law without the fear of being sacked by his superior or the prime minister. The Prime Minister, Reza Gilani, has initiated law of jungle in Pakistan where the, Might is right rules the world. Why did the prime minister and Ahmed Mukthar make such a big issue and fuss out of something insignificant and unimportant? Did the Defence Minister feel that he was above the law and the whole action impinged his personal shan dignity?

Instead of applauding the FIA officials for carrying out their duties as required, they were suspended and humiliated by the prime Minister. The nation demands that he apologized for his feudal action.


This PPP government from the president, prime minister and the cabinet ministers stinks, and is ruining and humiliating Pakistans image abroad. Where in the world would this corruption riddled government have lasted so long?

Ya you are right. Actually his seat is in danger that's why he become Jeyaala suddenly. Actually PPP is the party of Corrupt from Top ( [zardari] is at the top) to Bottom that's why most of the beneficiaries of NRO belong to PPP and most of them are in Cabinet.

After NRO verdict , PM has been forced to take a position of Over my dead body and today there are statements that If President goes, so does PM.

He may be soft spoken but no clean person by any standards. His deal with NAB case settlement should be made public as he owed more than 37 crore and settled the case in 4 crore.

PM should resign as he is never going to implement court decisions.
