So i am woundring does he knows what benami stands for ? Could he please explain how and whats criminal act Imran Khan has done ? I good journalist would had done some research and told us by transfering land as benami IK safed taxes or he used black money etc etc.
I will break it down for you. Benami is when you purchase property or other assets in name of family members. The reason for doing this is to utilize black money which since is made through illegal means can not be made public or shown in tax returns. The big holla about benami which imo made was also the same. Now go through the following carefully:
1. Imo claims he had no money so his
wife purchased the property, he got the money when he sold his flat in UK and paid Jamaima and transferred the plot in his name.
2. Jamaima claims in a legal document that
Imo purchased the property not her, she further claims
Imo made a benami transaction That is he purchased the property in her name.
3. Now all this is very obvious there is rocket science involved.
One of them is lying.
4. Some other points are
Imo does not challenge the authenticity of document. He says the
lawyer wrote the term Benami by mistake but that does not answer
why did his wife claimed he bought the property. Secondly legally all Imo says is meaningless in front of a legal document as
interviews are not legally binding but legal documents are.
5. Legally this is no laughing matter in Pakistan you can make gift (a term for within family transfer) to only Blood relatives and
wife is not a blood relative. Since gift has the lowest fee for transfer and it does not apply in this case Imo and Jamaima might have used this document
as a way for saving money in shape of fee by claiming Imo purchased it. Or Imo did purchase it but
did not declare the money as it was black.
6. If Imo or Jamaima claim through proper legal channel that
document is mistranslated or misleading the
transaction become null and void this also opens the door for questions like
who actually purchased the property and how that person got the money.

why did the tax council of Imran denied giving answers?
8. This is not so simple as you people are claiming since
there is an official legal position by Jamaima that Imo purchased property and made a benami transaction. some nuts are pasting Jamaima tweets which simply do not matter against a legal document.
