In my spare time, I am working on a Augmented Reality based Educational Project (For both Smart Phones & Tablets, As well as Web). I am sure, it will be up and running in couple of months.

In my opinion, there are always pros and cons of Every technology out there, but what prompted me to work on the software is to bring back the reading habits from printed books (I still like to read books, aroma, writing, narrative is awesome) to Virtual books with lots of imaginative 3d work. this will built up a new passion of reading in upcoming generation(Frankly the current one is far far far away from reading).

And yes, I will forward the concept to PTI as well.

Over all, good initiative by Punjab Govt, but as usual, lacks vision. Tablets are just the tools. What matter is the Content. By only putting up a book, you cannot force a student to be better , you need to show them the path and interest them enough into taking it up. (by the way, general public already has smart phone devices, why not use them)

اس جاہل کو یہ نذر نہی آتا کہ ہمارے لاکھوں بچے کس طرح سکول جاتے ہیں

میں جب بھی پاکستانی بچوں کو اس طرح سکول جاتا دیکھتا ہوں تو بہت افسوس ہوتا ہے

یہ ہمارے بچے ہیں ، ان کو لیپ ٹاپ نہی چاہے ، ان کو اچھے سکول اور سیف ٹرانسپورٹ چاہے

اور دہشت گردی سے پاک یونیورسٹی اور کالج چاہے

1) betne k lie chairs nahi aur tablets dena? 2) Hard copy is more better than soft copy q k is se demagh pa aur eyes pa ziada bad effect hoga 3) teacher ki kami he aur ye tablets de rahe he 4) gawo k bache tablet nahi use kar sakthe aur istrah jo education difference he b/w upper and lower classes families wo aur ziada ho jayege 5) tablet will be used mostly for Games 6) book is economical than tablet aur book ki importance koi hatam nahi kar saktha.

js mulk ke hazaroon schools main bath rooms, drinking water, proper desk, benches, fans, proper roof etc nahi hai wahan bachay tablet ley kar school jayangey.

Koi bataloo ke hum butlaein kya.
