PTI vision of new provinces

I heard Imran Khan saying before elections that 27 divisions can be made 27 provinces and PTI will make new provinces on administrative basis if it wins the majority.

Now PTI is in power which has 7 divisions. What is the stand of PTI on converting these 7 divisions into Provinces?

Who has the power to create new provinces? In Pakistan a Province cannot change name without approval from the Center and here you are talking about a provincial Govt. to create new provinces.

According to the constitution, New province resolution should be first adopted by provincial assembly and then by national assembly. If national assembly will not approve it, atleast PTI government should get it approved from KPK assembly.

NOTE: I am insafian. I am just asking whats PTI stand now about new provinces. I am not blaming them for anything. I know its too early for PTI. Only 3 months :)

We need this to be implimented but the new provinces need to be created on administrative lines NOT ethnic/linguistic lines because that will weaken the federation.

New provinces can only be made by the central government. PTI can only demand for new provinces and it has already demanded of making a Hazara province.

Well i agree with u now if u wanna make further provinces in KP which is already in trouble of other problems will add another problem of resource sharing.so better to concentrate on development of province not on division

It is a federal subject.. A province cannot decide on it's own.

O Kidu, do you know any thing about constitution?

Making provinces is the job of Federal Govt. not the provinces.

I think Admin should impose some age restrictions for posting any thread to avoid time wastage. At the present, every tom **** and harry will start a new thread without having any knowledge about the matter.

It is a federal subject.. A province cannot decide on it's own.

It is provincial subject as per law but because PTI is not in power in centre therefore everything is federal subject.
