Sorry, I have not read the whole post but I have explored the option in my college days and my findings can be summarised if you understand that "power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely". There are more chances that a single person don't listen to it's people then a 340 odd parliamentarians. There are flaws in both systems and Israel has a slight better system as they approach people to vote on every major issue but they are a small country and logistics and resources will make it difficult for Pakistan to adopt it. Therefore I think parliamentary system is better as you have to be inclusive and work together. Saying that you need to have good people otherwise it will be like whatever brand of mince machine you use but keep feeding cheechray and expect an expensive machine to give you rookha qeema then it will never happen.

i would have love to respond on this topic , but again .... example of iran... .. i hate iran .... why cant u give an indigenous example of Ayub Khan Era :-) , lolzzz ,

اگر قوم چاہتی ہے کہ ہمارے لیڈران اس فتنے سے بچیں تو انہیں بہت سنجیدگی سے ملک خداداد پاکستان کے لیے "صدارتی جمہوری نظام" کی سٹڈی کرنا ہو گی۔
صدارتی جمہوری نظام وہ واحد آپشن ہے جو کہ پاکستان کو ان وڈیروں کی سیاست سے نجات دلا سکتا ہے۔
اس لیے تمام محبانِ وطن کو دعوت ہے کہ وہ اس کیس کی سٹڈی کریں اور اپنی آراء سے آگاہ فرمائیں۔

This parliamentary democracy is nothing but a dhoka brought about by Free Masons in 1750's. Before this Kings/Queens of English were very brutal in running country. corruptions, crimes, were common. Country of jamhooriat ka gahwara (England) have dark history of torture and extra judicial killings of innocent peasants. The definition of masonic jamhooriat is that create two groups of people - public and govt - let th epublic indulge in any kind social ills - awarfgi, fohashi, liquor, hara mi bahcey, illicit sex, common in law living, leat marriages and more divorces, let womn become victim of capitalism - as long as they keep paying taxes, all is good.
Govt rules and public is left as khula ku tta and bakri - do what ever you want but dont forget to vote and pay taxes.
presidential system is failing as it is evident from the US. More and more unemployment, debt increasing jobs disappearing, you name it they got.
What we need is a party less systems where party of few does not dictate to the other half. We need to implement True Democracy also known as Khilafat and we can name it, for example, Khilafat-asliyah (خلافت اصلیہ) or any other name that people agree upon.

ایوب خان پر گفتگو کرتے وقت ایک بات یاد رکھئیے گا کہ ایوب کا دور ہرگز ہرگز "جمہوری صدارتی دور" نہیں تھا، بلکہ ایک ڈکٹیٹر کا دور تھا اور اُس دور میں میڈیا ہرگز آزاد نہیں تھا۔
اس لیے مجھے نہیں لگتا کہ ایوب خان کے دور کی سٹڈی کوئی فائدہ دے سکتی ہے۔

Its very nice discussion I think we should not involved in personnel hates & love its for betterment to all of us & posibly our future coming kids,if we success full in evolving a good system possibly this type of failures what is obvious we could avoid.
We do have high class degree of lota cracy possibly every party involved in it except MQM,Jamat islami,I am supporter of Mush but he also indulge in same thing I must admit,rest you can see PMLL_n,PPP,PTI all are PhD in it.
Other main rather almost poisnous issue is provincialism,ethnic &linguistic division I believe non true patrioratic Pakistani will disagree to curb this issue its high time we must act fast we should create mutiple autonomous province or states on pure adminstrative basis for benefit of people in that area,if any unit lagging behind fedration should give extra support for initial standing,all these will foget azad greater balochistan or etc every one will care their own area development &welfare.
Frequent referendum on major issues if dispute b/w parliment & president may be a choice to keep check & balance to President.
