KARACHI: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has said that his party kept on accepting MQM’s all kinds of demands in past but expressed, this time, his disagreement on bowing down to latter’s such demands that go against the interest of the state, SAMAA reported Sunday.
Addressing the journalists in Lahore, “PPP cannot accept anti-state demands of MQM,” the Premier asserted.
Formation of Grand Alliance against the government is not visible in near future, PM Gilani stated, being hopeful of MQM’s rejoining of the coalition government.
PPP always stays readily poised to sit on opposition benches but the procedure of removal from power needs to be constitutional, he said.
This is the first democratic government sans support of army dictatorship which is going to complete five-year tenure in the history of Pakistan, he vowed. SAMAA
