It was widely reported that two Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) employees were suspended on Tuesday after videos of former interior minister Rehman Malik and a Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) lawmaker being offloaded by fuming passengers went viral on social media. In the videos recorded via mobile phones, the lawmakers appeared to be the reason of delay for the Islamabad-bound flight. I was simply over joyous to see the people stop Rehman Malik from boarding the plane, while the (PML-N) lawmaker was forced to get off. Go People Power!

For the last 67 years these corrupt politicians and government officials have ruined the system and used Pakistan as their “kept”. The time has come to shun these people forever. The writing is on the wall. The frustration of the people is at its zenith. No police force or palaces will keep them safe. Their rule is coming to its conclusion. These corrupt politicians were lucky that they were confronted by the educated class of Pakistanis instead of the uneducated who would’ve taught them a real lesson. Nawaz Sharif would be deaf to say that he is not hearing the chants of “Go Nawaz Go”, wherever he goes. If he wants to stay in denial then that’s his choice, but it is only safe to say that his end is near. People like Rana Sanaullah are still trying to justify the Model Town killings.

Who are they fooling? Their chapter will finally come to a close, and they will be at the mercy of the people of Pakistan. Pakistanis are awake and are willing to take the matters in their own hands, and this incident clearly proves the intention. The government probably still has one last chance to get back on the honest track, which I don’t think they will, or end up in people’s court like Qaddafi.

It is alarming and unfortunate that useless rattling goes on in ruling quarters which made the IK asking Supreme Court to come out of cocoon and face their actual job which is to protect human rights, dignity for Pakistanis and logical sense in governance. If doctrine of necessity creeps back into system, it will only be because of misconduct of honorable judges.

Given the remarks of a judge in a case hearing, reported in media this morning that "we are not the kings that everybody rushes to, for remedy. People should see the appropriate forums for solutions. I wonder he is so blind to ground realities in Pakistan. In the case he was dealing with, the petitioner was asked by SC to collect his relief from the accused as individual and should not bother about the others deprived. It sounds like SC becoming a subordinate institution, sick of protecting the society and looking for easy ride.

If the justices would have done their jobs honestly Pakistan today would be among the most progressive countries, just like our Quaid had envisioned. It all started with justice Nasir who legitimized the first Marshal Law in Pakistan. The sad fact is that even today they are reluctant to take their responsibilities. SAD!

I have been asked a question today by a JI friend of mine. Their allegation is who is providing food to 4000 people in dharna. And than he pointed that Riaz Bahria is doing it.

Don't kill me for posting this.
