So this type of surveys would not give you the real picture
Its all about social media war...and not about reality

To me TUQ support is not equivalent to one national assembly seat...mark my words

Pakistanis will never ever support a religious figure
Specially a controversial one like TUQ
Secondly last years failed dharna and agreement drama with PPP has seriously dmaged TUQ reputation among neutral Pakistanis. THE WAY he was hidding in container..the way he tried to be a rebellion and the way drop scene of Drama emerged..all made TUQ nothing less than a laughing stock

TUQ is considered as hijaker of the show and nothing else

I agree with most of your analysis. In your opinion what are the reasons due to which Pakistanis are reluctant to vote for religious personalities? Why Islamists failed in Pakistan even when they are succeeding in elections in the countries like Turkey, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia??

Can you name other religious figures in top 50 muslims?
Qadri's no is 48..and before qadri there are many salafi deobandi and even brelwi figures in the list

So what do you think of them..what about siatani of shia is on no 3 mufti of saudia is on no 13 and haji abdul wahab of tableeghi jamat is on no 12
Mufti taqi usmani deobandi no 25
Mufti raza qadri of brelvi maslak 22

So do you think all of them are acceptable for you?

So I think it would be very difficult for a religious figure to get overwhelming support as people of one sect would never support the leader of other sect..and thats make it impossible for a religious figure to become a national figure

All the other leaders are respected by their followers thats why they are there..similarly Dr Qadri is also respected all over the world and he made it there as well ,banda kabhi hatred se bahar nikal ke bhi dekhay.

The ultimate reality is that Dr Qadri has become a significant "game changer" in Pakistan`s politics.No matter how badly you try,you cannot and I repeat you cannot alter this reality .

I believe this document is enough to establish dr Qadri`s credibility as a Religious leader

Sorry I didn't state clearly my viewpoint. I wanted to say that colonialism divided us as a society on ethnic and religious lines and religious leaders (at least at the social level) were replaced by secular ones in the same era. The relatively long period of colonial rule changed the socio-political and cultural situation of Sub-continent Muslims. Our State and elites didn't do any fundamental change in colonial policy. Thats why they don't consider religion as important as they used to consider in the past in the political affairs

Dr Tahir ul Qadri stance against the currupt system is proved now, every thing what he told before election is happing every body should join hands with Dr sab and lets clean this politics I respect Imran khan but i cant believe that any one can bring change by staying in this system. after election people should have understood.

محترم۔۔۔یہ نظام اتنا گلا سڑا ھے کہ کبھی اس کے ذریعہ مثبت تندیلی نہیں آسکتی۔۔چند کرپٹ خاندانوں کے ھاتھ گروی یہ غریب مار نظام حرامخور اشرافیہ کو پالتا ھے۔۔ عمران اس نظام میں رہتے ھوئے کبھی اتنے آنکڑے نہیں لے سکتا کہ پورا نظام بدل سکے۔۔وہ تو الیکشن سے پہلے پورے ملک کا لیڈر تھا لیکن اب خیبر پٹھون خاہ میں ایسا پھنسا ھے کہ لگتا ھے یہی منزل ھے۔۔ارے بھائی قومی اپوزیشن کا وہ نڈر کردار کہاں ھے جو عام آدمی کے مسائل کو اتنی شدومد سے اٹھاتا کہ اسمبلی کے فلور لرز جاتے۔۔لوگ مہنگائی، بے روزگاری،بدامنی سے مر رھے ھیں لیکن کرپٹ سسٹم کے رکھوالے بے سُر کی ھانک رھےھیں۔۔
