The fact PML-N supporters are totally neglecting is "THIS high ROI will produce high cost electricity" and it will be all pakistanis including PML-N supporter who will paying huge bills. We are now shouting on high cost electricity due to IPP in 1996, imagine what will happen when such projects start production.

The RWI predicted costs of electricity production per kWh for the basic load for the year 2010 as follows:[SUP][citation needed][/SUP]

[TH="class: headerSort, bgcolor: #F2F2F2, align: center"]Fuel[/TH]
[TH="class: headerSort, bgcolor: #F2F2F2, align: center"]Cost per kilowatt hour in euro cents.[/TH]

Natural gas
11.8 ct 10.6 ct.

The part of a base load represents approx. 64% of the electricity production in total. The costs of electricity production for the mid-load and peak load are considerably higher. There is a mean value for the costs of electricity production for all kinds of conventional electricity production and load profiles in 2010 which is 10.9 ct to 11.4 ct per kWh. The RWI calculated this on the assumption that the costs of energy production would depend on the price development of crude oil and that the price of crude oil would be approx. 23 US$ per barrel in 2010. In fact the crude oil price is about 80 US$ in the beginning of 2010. This means that the effective costs of conventional electricity production still need to be higher than estimated by the RWI in the past.
The WVW takes the legislative feed-in-tariff as basis for the costs of electricity production out of renewable energies because renewable power plants are economically feasible under the German law (German Renewable Energy Sources Act-EEG).
The following figures arise for the costs of electricity production in newly constructed power plants in 2010:[SUP][citation needed][/SUP]

1996n main PML-N nai sarai international investors ko bhaga dia tha and they also abandoned the thar coal and due to the dispute of fraction of cents the Chinese company left the country.

"But after the change of Government in 1996, the new Govt decided that they were going to focus on Hydel Power instead and coal power was not needed, the then serving Petroleum Minister went on record to announce this sudden and dramatic policy shift in 1996/97. All these international companies were therefore driven away, sustaining huge losses. Current lack of interest by international mining companies is largely due to lack of credibility, primarily caused by Government policy inconsistencies rather than any deficiency in the resource base of Thar Coal. Much is made of the story of the Chinese company Shenhua which did a preliminary feasibility study of Thar coal but decided not to pursue the project further allegedly on disagreement with proposed tariff."

Coal & Electricity[/h]

Modern life is unimaginable without electricity. It lights houses, buildings, streets, provides domestic and industrial heat, and powers most equipment used in homes, offices and machinery in factories. Improving access to electricity worldwide is critical to alleviating poverty.
Coal plays a vital role in electricity generation worldwide. Coal-fired power plants currently fuel 41% of global electricity. In some countries, coal fuels a higher percentage of electricity.

PTi guys really do hard work to bring out or save clips anything against govt ,anyways it was mentioned to Pmln ecnomic expert he said we already offering 31.5 % return overall first time we mention it the whole figure overall we offer 31 percent ,we don't pay 15 percent after adding other initiative overall return is 31 so we mention the exact figures to make it easy to understand ,if I had idea that such thing will come up lol I would definitely save that clip as obviously you will demand for it and I have other things to do as well rather than saving clips etc but if I manage to find that programe I'll definitely share

no but we gurantee only 15%. However since govt of pakistan buys more electricity the overal return increase to 31%. if we guarantee 31% return then you can well imagine what the final return will be. if gop doesnt give that min return these companies will go to court. it seems to me that after steel and poultry, sharifs want to enter the energy business.

GO an Build Diameer Bhasha Dam.......... This dam even produces more electricity then Kala Bagh.. Work is already underway on Diameer Bhasha since Musharraf times, we just need to increase the Momentum
Coal is also another solution but not with 31.5% Return......... Its a biggest corruption Scandal of the History of Pakistan, virtually Pakistan is on Sale
