PAWS working to establish 24-hour ambulance service for animals in Karachi

If your cat swallows a ball of fur or your dog eats chocolate, dont panic. All you have to do is call the Pakistan Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) and they will help your distressed pet.
The society, which was founded in 2004 by Mahera Omer and Maheen Zia, is currently trying to establish a shelter and medical facility exclusively for animal emergencies.

It will be equipped with X-ray and ultrasound machines as well as operation theatres. The facility will also have a 24-hour ambulance service.

Treatment will be provided not only to cats and dogs, but other animals such as donkeys, horses and mules as well.

In Pakistan we do have "veterinary doctors" as a profession, but not specified only for dogs. Our problem is to respect
the "Ummah" and humanity, the rest comes automatically. Pakistan has no dog culture like west, where the dog is
better friend then human beings. We all should learn to respect the humanity with love and affection the rest comes
automatically.

It's more than a 'year' since we met, last. How many 'legs' our 'pet' AK has? Bhai, all our 'pets' have TWO (2) legs and can walk themselves. No need of an ambulance we both are stout and can 'lift them' without any mechanical support/help. BTW, is AK keeping "Fasts" and does he used an ambulance in Ramadan?
