Pakistani Flag no good for John Kerry?

Can someone explain this please because I can only come up with one answer; but before I utter it kindly someone shed some light on this sickening situation. Isn't it embarrassing?

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif (R) in a meeting with US Secretary of State John Kerry (L) in New York on Thursday.

What is with the Pakistani Flag in the back? Did Kerry refuse to sit in front of Pakistans flag? Why the flag is covered? Nawaz Sharif Sahib, do you have an answer? How could you sit in front of a covered Pakistani Flag? Shouldn't you be saluting this flag?

Flag is not covered BUT folded in this way so no body can recognise that this flag belongs to which country. You can see that full moon is missing and star is missing completely. This is NOT the right way to display any country's flag while their President/PM is sitting with their counter part.

I think thread poster thought that flag has been covered by curtain , my first reaction was same :-) , but its not , flag is in front of curtain but not flying that why not shown as complete
