Pakistani democracy under attack

Pakistani democracy is being attacked by non-democratic forces, the campaign against politicians is actually a campaign against democracy. On the NRO list of 8,000 only 35 are politicians, however, politicians are being targeted and questions about Generals, Beaurucrats and Industrialists are not being asked. See the article below:

politicians are the people who are elected by the nation so they have a very sensitive position they can't do anything which is against the interest of the nation.
ok coming to the topic. do u know how a politician rise to such position of power.
an army man need around 30 yrs to reach to the post of general. similiarly a lot of time is needed in other deptts. but here the politican move very quickly to the positions of great powers which are more than others.. all the generals and others come below them....
so if the NRO contain the name of the politicians it means that the whole other people had corruption because the politicians supported them.. so the thing first is that the politicians are tried in the supreme court and the court of the nation who appointed them and as far as other people like bearocrats and others are involved.. it is the responsibility of the politicians i.e. people having immense powers and mandate to catch them and punish them.. i think this is the point.
there is no threat to democracy.. we have a lot more people who can do it..
democracy doesnt state that it should be run by corrupt people.. so if there is no zardari or ppp. others a bit tranparent people will come and run the system.. democracy is never dependent on personalities. if u think that zardari is democracy and democracy is ppp. then u can think how dictators think that without them nothing is going to work is it not the same thing what these silly politicians think. it is the same dictator mind.. absolutely rubbish i m really sorry for these people and for us that we send such people to the parliament.
May Allah keep our country safe from foreign and internal enemies

In Pakistan democracy is under threat not from the people of Pakistan but by its greedy, corrupt, dishonest and insincere politicians and filthy rich who believe that " Democracy is for the corrupts, criminals and greedy rich", and not for the benefit of the 90% poor masses.

The Whole concept of democracy in Pakistan is a deception because those in political power, feudal lords, industrialists, capitalists and in high offices have hijacked it for their own advantage.

Why do we hanker for western democracy that breeds immorality, lewdness, corruption and is full of anomalies? Why do we not look at the Islamic socio-economic, judicial and political Nizam that is based on absolute justice, fairness and equality to every citizen in the state?

like great leaders said that democracy is the best revenge thus I follow that and say we defeat forces like extremism that out trying to threaten our freedom in Pakistan. As one we can fight them and win for sure because nations who stand United always win.

Shahid Bhai, Just one agrument:

To safeguard these 35 politicians 8000 plunderers of all kinds, small and large, were spared.

Thank God, they will all face real courts, InshaAllah.

Would anyone think of an NRO if politicians were not involved? I Don't think so.

So I disagree that campaign against NRO is actually a campaign against politicians.

In fact it had been a blessing in disguise, without NRO, we probably would not see the true faces of politicians - Dakoos and Qatils included
.
