My friend, do not forget that its a test cricket.

No very long ago, in recent ashes, Australia used the same technique to slow down first two days of the test to tire down the English cricketers. If I remember right that Australia scored 1.5 runs per overs without loosing any wicket.

So do not expect one day in a test match.

The defensive mindset is the issue here.

Otherwise after seeing off the new ball on day one and having a great opening stand they should have taken taken more aggressive approach. But since they are afraid of losing, they want to ensure that aussies do not have enough time to turn the tables.

Just imagine india makes 360+ on day 1 while losing 6 wickets but we don't cross 250 while just losing 1 wicket. That is too pathetic.
