Unfortunately what you described seems to be true OR the whole drama has been staged with the help of Pakistani govt. Anyway here is a true story to back up your writing

In my home town village in East Pakistan, there was a young boy same age as myself. He was very week and would never attack back on anyone. He would always call his mom and dad.

Baluchistan was mentioned that does not mean Manmohan Singh accepted Indian involvement there.
I know of few attacks on Indians in Kabul, but not aware of any incident involving Indians in Kandahar other the the hijack incident.
