but let me put a question to you in modern warfare Airforce is No1 in any armed forces see the results of Afghanistan n Iraq both the War were won by allies caz of superior air power. ......even in Fata Army does not move without air cover.........ever heard Pak Airforce Cheif name he is more important than Mota Raheel Shareef.

So war in Afghanistan has been won? how much of the Afghanistan's area is under NATO control? how much is still there under Taliban control? and there is no question of No 1 or 2. It depends on the ground conditions of a country where one force may be considered more active than the other. US Armed forces usually operate outside their territories, that is why their Air force and Navy remains in the limelight. In Pakistan, mostly the ground battles had been in vogue. Furthermore, Army also has its own Aviation arm, where certain squadrons are fighting squadrons and have battling vehicles such as Cobra Helicopters as well.

.......ever heard Airforce cadets beating civilians or for that matter Navy cadets or officers...........What is so special about Army that its Cheif retirement becomes a national debate or why they always become dictators...........as Zardari says it is the mindset.....Pak Army is an institute where corruption is legitimised and unless majority people don't realise that we will remain like this

Again a very wrong perspective. There are other instance as well where the name of Army is vocal, that justifies why change of Army Chief becomes a national debate. e.g. Army has your borders with India covered ( a major deployment), then comes FATA, where more than 100,000 troops are deployed, then comes the internal deployments in Baluchistan and Sindh, where almost more than 50,000 personnel are deployed. Now, if you can do this job with Air Force and/or Navy, then they will also become the talk of the town as per their role in defence strategy. However, all of these three forces come under Ministry of defence, Army is not running its separate ministry. Furthermore, if you look at the points of mega corruptions in organizations, procurement is the main process through which corruption is practiced. Now here, Pakistan Army has its Directorate General of Procurement (DGP), which has limited tights of procurement and contracting. Whereby, for higher level procurement, the cases are referred to DGDP, which is a collective institute to deal with the defence purchase of all the three forces. So Army is not above or below any other force.

Well, Musharraf had his own profile as well, where he had risked hi s life numerous times for the sake of his country by being in Commandos. If you are happy that NS is not a drunkard, then I suppose you may rank him above Musharraf. To me, what Musharraf did for Pakistan is way more than what Nawaz and Zardari could do in a lifetime. By the way, Musharraf was promoted by NS, out of the turn and because of this unfair promotion, three generals had to resign... if I remember it correctly.
