Even from 71 to 78 Imran Khan was the best Pakistani bowler by strike rate and 2nd best by average and wicket taken.
Tempered facts hardly matter, make little more effort, give fabricated facts years wise 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1974. 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978.
Thereafter Pappu Niazi do become cricketer after 6/7 years of kicking out of team and returning with safarish. He played well for 5/6 years who doubts. Compare facts with Pappu Niazi first year cricket and poor family cricketer booked for not joining gambling mafia performance in first year.
Haroon Rasheed present coach was also kicked out, very close friend of Papu Niazi in Karry Packer, when he jioned he called back him in team too but he shetted. This close friend oF pappu Niazi is coach now!!!

Can you please look at the pool table of 1992 world cup and honestly say that we went in semifinals based in IK leadership / captaincy or the clouds over Adelaide?
IK was a legendary player. He invented reverse swing. He was a great bowler and very good with the bat and in his mature years a good captain too, but there have been better players than him in the game, since. But again, that doesn't takeaway anything from IK. He is, like I said, a legendary cricketer.
But why do we make a massiah out of everyone? Steve Waugh runs a charity as well but we never see him jumping up and down like out lovechild-hidden marriage playboy, do we? There are full charity run cancer hospitals in other underdeveloped / developing countries, but we don't see their patrons criticizing like our playboy does.
If that's the standard man, please, please let's make the rain clouds over Adelaide on 1st March 1992, our Prime Minister.

Dude, I think I'm in the top 5 IK haters here on the forum, but trust me you're doing it wrong.
You can't start down rating IK's cricket career as if he was some safarishy bad player and had no talent or good performance.
Come on and be realistic and fair in your criticism please.
History is never written by a victor, it is sports and not a war to conquer territory. Pappu Niazi do lift 1992 trophy but all knows Javed Miandad, Amir Suhail, Aqib Jave and Rameez Raja are real hero. This IT era, hard to temper facts, not 1716 AD. Anyways 4 x years 1971 to 1974 performance both of initial test and ODI is enlisted to prove how Pappu Niazi started his career with safrish and given extraordinary chances.

So Question, can somebody from poor background and without safrish can survive in cricket with this initial career, not in Pakistan but all over the world. Aim is not to down Pappu Niazi, he is indeed a good player but not a legend at all. Way chances are given to him, new players should also be given at least chance for one year if not like Pappu Niazi for 6/7 years without any fear that a Safrish.com player Pappu Niazi will come and will take their career away if did not jion gambling mafia.

No, why not be fair?
Had the rain not stopped the match, we'd have the same points as Australia, but less run-rate because we were all-out for 74, under the great captaincy of IK.
My point isn't criticizing IK's cricket, because that's legendary no matter what the nay-sayers say, but my point is that even in 1992, we were pretty bad as a team, but rain helped us through at that point.
In 1999, we were strongest of any worldcups, but still pretty unprofessional because most run-scoring was done by tail-enders, and in that tournament rain or any other help didn't happen.
No one's questioning IK's legacy as a player, but the 1992 cup can't just be blindly attributed to one person's captaincy, because if it were so, then please explain the first 5 matches' performance.

And I also did year by year stats. Turns out that the years Imran played during 71-78 time-period, he was the most wicket taking bowler of Pakistan in all but one year, and that too because he played less matches than Sarfraz Nawaz. Imran didnt even play for 3 years between 71-78 yet he is the best bowler of that era!!!!

Reverse swing was invented by Sarfraz Nawaz, even Pappu Niazi learnt from him (read his autobiography). As per only FAST BOWLERS competition Sarfraz Nawaz was No 1 in accuracy, Pappu Niazi was No 3 in speed but not even first 10 in accuracy. Till 1978 Sarfraz Nawaz was No 1 bowler, remained till he retired, even reflected from Bani gala manufactured/tempered facts.
Selection of 1992 team, in jealously Javed Miandad was dropped in selection, enough to prove what team was selected, it was later that he was included in squad.
