نیوزی لینڈ کی پارلیمنٹ کا اجلاس کرائسٹ چرچ دہشت گردی کے تناظر میں تلاوت کلام پاک سے ہوا جب کہ وزیراعظم جیسنڈا آرڈن نے اپنے خطاب کی ابتدا بھی السلام و علیکم کہہ کر کی۔



سانحہ کرائسٹ چرچ کے بعد نیوزی لینڈ کی پارلیمنٹ کے پہلے اجلاس کا آغاز تلاوت قرآن پاک سے کیا گیا۔ وزیراعظم نیوزی لینڈ جیسنڈا آرڈن نے اپنی تقریر کا آغاز السلام وعلیکم سے کرتے ہوئے سانحہ کے متاثرین سے یکجہتی کا اظہار کیا۔ کرائسٹ چرچ مساجد میں موجود مسلمانوں کودہشت گرد سے بچاتے ہوئے اپنی جان قربان کرکے جرات اور بہادری کی مثال بننے والے شہید پاکستانی نعیم راشد کو وزیراعظم نیوزی لینڈ نے خراج عقیدت پیش کیا جب کہ اپوزیشن اور حکومتی ارکان نے متاثرین کے سوگ میں ایک منٹ کی خاموشی اختیارکی۔

وزیراعظم نیوزی لینڈ جیسنڈا آرڈن نے پارلیمنٹ کے خصوصی سیشن سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ حملہ کرنے والے شخص کے خلاف قانون کے تحت کارروائی ہوگی، حملہ آوردہشت گرد، مجرم اورانتہا پسند ہے، آپ مجھے اس کا نام لیتے ہوئے نہیں سنیں گے۔ لواحقین جنازے جہاں بھی لے جانا چاہیں اخراجات حکومت ادا کرے گی، دہشت گرد حملے کی تہہ تک پہنچنے کی کوشش کریں گے جب کہ ملک میں ہائی الرٹ برقرار ہے۔

واضح رہے کہ 15 مارچ کو نیوزی لینڈ کے شہر کرائسٹ چرچ کی دومساجد میں سفید فارم عیسائی دہشت گرد نے نماز جمعہ کے دوران فائرنگ کرکے 50 مسلمانوں کو شہید کردیاتھا، شہدا میں 9 پاکستانی بھی شامل ہیں۔

New Zealand government has said that it will support the affected families financially, possibly for years.

Wow, this is just amazing.

Reminds me of the actions of Imran Khan. He couldn't even meet the orphans of Sahiwal incident due to state terrorism. Yet he claims to be this good guy.

Imran Khan should learn something from this agnostic NZ PM, she doesn't have a tasbeeh in her hand but she knows how to show sympathy and how to act with the people.

Oh I forgot to mention, that it is not just minorities, even people of same religion which have a bit of a difference on certain "political historical facts" are not even safe. Even leave that, here people are shot by none other than the law enforcement agencies themselves and still no one stands up, students kill fellow student, neighbor kills several young girls in the vicinity and the goes on. So in a country where this all is accepted with a cold sigh, what to talk of minorities there.... India is no different either, that is why I said countries "like" Pakistan....

I agree with you. Pakistan is a shit country and its institutions complete crap.

What my point was that minorities are relatively safe and don't suffer the extremism that India is doing. Its also looked down upon by the nation collectively.

The issue actually is not of minorities but of solidarity with your countrymen. NZ PM showed she cares about her country citizens, IK has showed that he doesn't give a crap if Pakistani citizens are murdered and Pakistani blood is cheap. So you're right about that.

If it was another way around and, a lunatic Muslim kills Christians/Jews/Hindus etc. Will the Muslim countries allow them to recite their holy books in the parliament as well?
