But I am scared, if there is a hidden agenda being given to us.
US does not like China's growing involvement in Afghanistan. I am scared if this Govt will be used against China - just like Imran Gov't.

Its our open call of alliance with China for our regional matters. Recently, Pakistan has also recognized the Govt of Taliban, for their own sake. We know, what Pakistan may bring to the table. Now lets see if Beijing and Washington can develop an understanding on this or not?

Pakistan is still important, even for the Mid-East, kyun k woh bhootni walay bhi aakhir main apnay defense k liye hamain hi daikhtay hain.
Now, it is a chance for Pakistan to be a blue eyed boy for its each darlings (US and China). The recent model is of Vietnam, Singapore and Hong Kong and Malaysia.

However, if Pakistan continued its trajectory towards a vicious grasp of militarization, I think we may become something slightly better looking than the North Koreans, but still painted in the same color.

Even from Pakistan's own perspective, it is important that we may remain in alliance with our neighbors at the west. Because, naturally, we are at the front with the East/india. our geological position is naturally in an area which was in control of Muslims since the times of Hazrat Umar (RA). Persia was subdued by him, which included the areas of Baluchistan and KPK. Thanks for this war which has made us refocus upon our foreign policy, and redefine our boundaries with India, rather than Afghanistan or even Iran (for that matter).

Now both the Elephants in the room need to sit together and decide, do they want trade or do they want war?
