Malala remains in a stable condition at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.

On Monday (22 October), Mian Iftikhar Hussain, the Information Minister of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province in Pakistan, visited the hospital to meet with Dr Dave Rosser, Medical Director.

In a private meeting, Dr Rosser gave a clinical progress report on Malala's treatment and condition. He reiterated the detail given at a media briefing last week (see video below).

The Minister also brought get-well cards and flowers for the 15-year-old, although he was not able to visit her personally. He sincerely thanked the nurses, doctors and support staff involved in her care. He said she was receiving the best care in the world as the hospital could provide the most appropriate expertise and experience to treat the injured teenager.

At this time, Malalas family remain in Pakistan.

ur wound i.e hole also vanished in 3 days ?

bullet entered in forehead traveled along the jaw crushing it, and now she is all ok , thats amazing advancement of medical department of our old aqaaass

I had accident in my childhood and my skull was broken ... I got 2 inch diameter hole in my foreskull bone. I survived and now living normal married life at age 35

گولی ماتھے سے داخل ہوئی جبڑے کو چیرتی ہوئی نکلی اور کندھے میں گھس گئی

اب نہ تو گولی کے داخلے کا سوراخ ھے اور نہ ہی جبڑا ٹوٹا یا سوجا ہوا ہے
بھائی میں نے گولیوں کے زخمی بہت دیکھے ہیں
گولی اگر کلاشن کوف کی تھی تو اس انداز میں اس کو کھوپڑی دو حصوں میں تقسیم کر دینی چایئے تھی
سات اشاریہ چھ دو ملی میٹر کا راونڈ جو اس حصے میں سے گزرے تو کچھ باقی نہیں چھوڑے گا
گولی اپنے ہی مدار پر لٹو کی طرح گھوم کر سفر کرتی ہے ، اور راستے میں انے والے ٹشو اور ہڈیوں کو ذروں میں تقسیم کر دیتی ہے

یہاں ایسی کوئی بات نظر ہی نہیں آ رہی
میں نہیں کہتا کچھ ہوا ہی نہیں ، لیکن بہرحال وہ سب نہیں ہوا جو بتایا جا رہا ہے


لیکن یہ گولی کا نرالا زخم ھے

Dost mein ne kaha tha na is se pichle kisi thread mein bhi ke is behes ko chor dia jaye, see you step into it and you sink into it. You have presented your point and they have theirs and a lot of points I must say.

See, I had a road accident some years ago. I was hit so hard on the side of my forehead that I went flying and somersaulting in the air for about 20-25 feet (so technically, I was hit on my forehead,it spun my neck with that force and resultantly my 90KG body flew in the air like a rag doll). When I hit the ground, I was able to stand up on my feet with a totally cut forehead, veins hanging, blood spurting and the whole bone opened in a bad fashion and yes with more than a Grade III concussion. I stood up, walked to the nearest man who couldn't move in fear after having a look at my bloodied face and asked him for a clean piece of cloth, covered my wound with that cloth placing my hand tightly over it, called in a motorcycle guy, sat on its back, went to the van driver which hit me, grabbed him by collar, asked him not to ever drive a van on the road or he would face it and went home which was very near.Called in a surgeon who is a family friend, he took me to his clinic, stitched my forehead so finely that you couldn't even find out within 15 days if I was hit so hard and it was in such a bad shape.

I was working for a multinational firm and to sack me after the accident, the HR guy asked the clumsiest of questions, accha aap ko itni bari chot lagi thee, doesn't look like it. The reports could've been fabricated as it doesn't look so bad. Why didn't you travel to a well-reputed hospital as you have the best of insurance policies in Pakistan to get your forehead stitched and a lot of such questions and I obviously was enraged at all of it saying only one thing ke aap samajhtay hain mein jhoot bol raha hoon, took out my phone and showed him the picture (that I had taken on the operation table before getting it stitched) and showed it to him after asking for my relieving letter. Even some of my friends after having a look at me said, yaar maza nahi aaya sahi badmuashon vali look nahi bani, ziada hee accha heal ho gaya hai. I was in the gym lifting weights right after a month (despite doctor telling me that if I lift anything above my head, it would be my sole responsibility) and after a couple of months pressing a 100KG above my head (Yes, I was never a 100% in terms of the endless amount of insane energy that I previously had for exercise and my daily activities but I still am quite alright).

Now the purpose of all of this rant is that sometimes things happen above the levels of our understanding. Now if we speak about technicalities, why didn't my neck break? Why was I able to stand up on my feet and do all of that and some more (the concussion, injury and a lot of blood loss) Why was my forehead in such a condition and with the slightest of swelling right after 10 days or so? Why was I able to defy all that the Neurophysicians and surgeons had said?Why was the wound healed in such a fashion in a short amount of time that I had to show a picture to prove my injury? Why was the dressing upon my wound like a turban on the first two days and then a thin layer for a week and then nothing right after 8 days while I walked a kilometre myself to get the stitches removed refusing to use any means of transportation (The blood loss was so massive that for the first time in my life, I actually learnt what the term kamzori se taangein kaanpna means? And some other questions too.

Now I am not saying that Malala's incdient is true or false but do tell me if it is true, doesn't she need our sympathy than our criticism because if it is a drama, she is the one who is going to suffer in the afterlife for this. From starting a rant about her so called diary to her injury and all that, it all seems as fishy or even more than the issue of her injury.

Now look at the outcome. We have demanded afghans and ISAF to hand fazluLlah over to us along with his brigade so is that a bad thing? I don't see any North Waziristan operation in this scenario and for that, there are a lot more excuses already and a bitter reality too. That bitter reality my friend is the solid existence of Amaraat e Tehreek e Taliban Pakistan in North Waziristan and a person from there telling me ke waziristan tayyar hai aapse alaihidgi ka ailan kerne ko right in my sitting room a few days ago. Now we can deny it as much as we want but we need to see the reality and in fact do something about it.

Again, about the issue, I know a cousin of mine who hanged himself, kept on hanging for two hours (according to the one who found him, yeh itni lambi gardan ho gayi thee) and is still alive after being declared dead, strong and breathing good.
