Nawaz Sharif In a Traffic Jam


This story is dedicated to all those Pakistanis who believe we have a savior in Mr. Nawaz Sharif.Mr. Nawaz Sharif's midweek trip to the hilly Murree resort didn't end well. On his way back, his motorcade was stuck in a traffic jam. Instead of waiting for the cars to move like all Pakistanis do, Mr. Sharif had a solution. His brother is the chief executive of the province where Murree is located. So he simply called the Chief Secretary of the Punjab province.

Resolving traffic congestions is not in the job of this bureaucrat, the Chief Secretary. But since he works for a government run by a family-run political party, the poor civil servant has to lick boots to promote his career. So he wasted no time in dispatching government employees to end the traffic jam and rescue a restless Mr. Nawaz Sharif.

Story doesn't end here.

Some thirty police officers were 'suspended' from duty the next day because they failed to make Mr. Sharif's picnic a smooth drive [What were they supposed to do? Reinvent a lousy traffic system?]

This feudalistic, paternal attitude by Mr. Sharif is nothing new to the elite, superrich class of Pakistani politicians. Ordinary middle class Pakistanis are virtually banned entry to these feudal-owned political parties.

This is why Mr. Sharif will never understand why what he did is wrong.

i dont know if thats true or not , since i wasnt there , but i have seen MQM ministers with an escort of atleast 30 cars and motorbikes, and all the traffic stopped for them, i have seen it with my own eyes in karachi.. this is what they call middle class leadership , my foot ..

MQM ministers are "MINISTERS" and doing proven important work that everybody witnesses in Sindh. Nawaz Sharif is not a Govt Minister and he was in Murree for his personal picnic.

How can anyone trust what ramses2x1 says because we can see his hatred with MQM in his post so obviously he is a biased racist.

Recently a survey was conducted in Pakistan by a US based unofficial organisation, Aerican Republican Institute. 4000 people from various districts of Pakistan were interviewed. It revealed following interesting facts:

82% people like Nawaz Sharif among all political leaders

72% people love Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan

65% people support Chief Justice of Pakistan, Iftikhar Chaudhry

9% people like President Musharraf

8% people like Ch. Shujaat and Pervaiz Ellahi

45% people like Asif Ali Zardari

2% people like Altaf Hussain

70% people think that inflation is the biggest problem

Nawaz Sharif got popularity because of his unshaken stand for the restoration of deposed judges. It is highly appreciable that Sharif and his party PML-N resigned from the ministries for the sake of judges and they did not compromise with Musharraf and his allies. Such leadership is asset of a nation.

If this story is true then Nawaz Shariff must publicly apologize to the nation, and the same principle should be applied for all those who think that Pakistan belongs to them, their children, families and close friends.

I ve seen Rauf Siddiqui moving around in FB area without a squad... since I was frequent visitor of FB area I have seen many times ministers going to 90 with only one or two mobiles escorting them... most of the time one...

I dont know how did you see the squad of 30 vehicles ecorting an MQM minister...You might be right... things might have changed in one year...

My question is "How do you know that it was MQM minister in the car"????????

i can just laugh on these people who have fallen in blind love with their fascist party, they r sumyun umyun bukmun , they have eyes they cant see , they have ears but they r unable to hear.. first of all anybody who is from khi knows everything about MQM .. so please stop telling lies ..

secondly he called me a racist,, all i can say look who is talking , they belong to a party which was made on the basis of racism and they have practised it since then .. all the time.. and the proof is here on this website.. the way they have grudge against just one person , nawaz sharif .. God knows what he has done to them .. ;) .. its a racist gangster group.. who is on a mission against pakistan ..

and this american survery ,, they not gonna listen to this , they would label it as racist and against MQM as well ..
