Do u know , who is supposed to deliver the 'Khutaba ' of Juma?
The khaifa-e- waqat., I mean, PM or President, Like Zardari...
And he will discuss the situation of country and his ideas in the light of Quran and sunat...
Then we can understand the importance of Khutaba...
It is just like that our TV was showing that during the presentation of 18th amendment , some members were discussing their ties and dresses.
thats not good in serious meetings...like juma.

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ ہی سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ''پانچوں نمازیں، جمعہ دوسرے جمعے تک اور رمضان دوسرے تک (یہ کام) اپنے درمیانی وقفے کے تمام گناہوں کو معاف اور دور کردینے والے ہیں۔ بشرطیکہ کبیرہ گناہوں سے بچ کر رہا جائے۔''

Allah (SWT) orders those who believe
When the call(azaan) is heard for the prayer of the day of congregation(Juma):
1. haste unto remembrance of Allah;
2. Leave all the trading(business/offices etc);
That (1 &2) is better for you (Believers) if ye did but know.
And when the prayer is ended:
1. then disperse in the land;
2. and seek of Allah's bounty,
3. and remember Allah much,
that (1,2,3) ye (Believers) may be successful (in life & Day After).
Further reminder:
those who give preference to past-time and trading, instead of Juma Prayer;
must know that what is with Allah is better than these two things.
Allah(SWT) is best Providers.

The Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace) said: When it is Friday, the angels stand at every door of the mosque and record the people in the order of their arrival, and when the Imam sits (on the pulpit for delivering the sermon) they fold up their sheets and listen to the mention (of Allah). And he who comes early is like one who offers a she-camel as a sacrifice, the next like one who offers a cow, the next a ram, the next a hen, the next an egg. [Muslim]
Friday! The day of making loads of duas, sending blessings on our beloved Prophet (SA) and reading Surah al-Kahf.
Whoever reads Surah Al-Kahf on the day of Jumah (Friday), will have a light that will shine from him from one Friday to the next. [Narrated by al-Haakim, 2/399; al-Bayhaqi, 3/249]

مومنو! جب جمعے کے دن نماز کے لئے اذان دی جائے تو خدا کی یاد (یعنی نماز) کے لئے جلدی کرو اور (خریدو) فروخت ترک کردو۔ اگر سمجھو تو یہ تمہارے حق میں بہتر ہے
پھر جب نماز ہوچکے تو اپنی اپنی راہ لو اور خدا کا فضل تلاش کرو اور خدا کو بہت بہت یاد کرتے رہو تاکہ نجات پاؤ
