JIT may have some loops hole for opposite lawyer to prolong case, with those taken out and only the solid unquestionable or the evidence with solid backings should be given by wajid zia will shut case close for shareef lawyer to rebuttal.
As it was a case with calibry font shareef lawyer played with calibry font but did not rebuttal forgery in date and other things in trust deed.

NAB references: Court decides to not include JIT report in judicial record
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Ex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Captain (r) Safdar on Thursday appeared in accountability court as National Accountability Bureau (NAB) reference pertaining to London flats entered final phase.
During the hearing headed by Justice Mohamamd Bashir, Nawaz Sharif was permitted to leave due to his bad health while prosecution witness Wajid Zia, former head of the Panama case Joint Investigation Team (JIT), recorded his statement in the presence of Maryam Nawaz and Captain (r) Safdar.
Wajid Zia submitted record in three boxes and requested the court to make JIT report as part of the proceedings. Maryam Nawaz’s lawyer challenged the appeal, saying that no law allows to include suggestions of investigation team as record.
Afterwards, the court decided to not make the report as part of the record.
Earlier, a three-member bench of the Supreme Court (SC) had given another two months to the accountability court to conclude hearing of references against Sharif family.
The apex court had given six-month deadline to the NAB court to complete the trial which will expire on March 13.
The deadline was extended after the accountability court requested the top court to extend time period for the ongoing trials, arguing that they cannot be concluded within the six-month time.
On the other hand, the ministry of law had also assured SC to extend the tenure of accountability court Judge Mohammad Bashir, who is hearing the NAB references against Sharif family.
Responding to the notice taken by the apex court earlier today, law secretary Chaudhry Nazeer Ahmed said that the extension will be done before March 12, over which, the court ordered to inform about the development in the case on March 10.
SC disqualified Sharif from office in July over unreported sources of annual income of about $10,000, a salary the former premier denies ever receiving. The high court also ordered the NAB to investigate and conduct a trial into the Sharif family’s wider finances, including the London properties.
Sharif was also ousted from the presidency of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) party, which elected close ally Shahid Khaqan Abbasi as prime minister after Sharif was disqualified.

Wajid Zia was asked to talk on the Aevelfield Apartments only, and he said he is not able to talk exclusively on one issue. He has to talk on complete report.

The interviews were done by JIT, They would not show up in NAB to do the interviews. Can the judge give a judgment without interviews?

JIT report was a complete joke and if there was anything conclusive then supreme court could have decided on that but they choose Son's Salary path.
Wajid Zia should be investigated for giving almost 70 thousand pounds to his cousin in UK. UK has so many law firm and private investigators but Wajid Zia only manage to find someone who is his brother and work for himself and has no company etc.

Actually he does have a company - PMLN's favourite newspaper even did a story on it....
But if you are upset about that, you must be fuming that the legal firm which verified the trust deed for sharif's in UK is actually dormant since 1991 and non-operational - so not reputable as you initially thought.

Another thing which is a complete joke is Shareef did not take Salary of $10,000 from his son but did accept gift from him totally close to 100 crore. Nawaz shareed khata hai par lagat bhee to hai (bigsmile)

Also, if law firm is dubious then why paid so much money to Wajid zia brother and Robert? It is joke but in Pakistan it takes little bit of time when retired army officers, NAB officials and judges comes on tv and accept that they were actually behind this joke and all was drama. I wont be surprise.

That exactly is the case. Only thing they (SC) could find to punish NS right away was the accumulated salary from sons company.
Even with that, they had to manufacture the definition of calling it as an asset.
Rule of thumb is that the "an asset is taxable". I don't see any country (repeat any country) on the face of earth who taxes the accumulated amount which has not yet been received.

Of course other laws firms were available. And here is Wajid Zia's explanation of why that particular firm was selected. You might disagree with him, but it was all cleared with other members of JIT, etc. There is zero legal blowback on him....
