Bhai, koi burai nahi hai. I always speak with everyone with respect unless someone try to be too clever for their own good. But problem with Pakistanis is that they don't stop their lies no matter where ever they are, not even in the West.
I give you one very recent example. Last week while doing my Halal Meat shopping, a new starter at the shop, where I have shopped for years now, asked me am I a Pakistani? I responded to him as usual, yes. He asked from where? I said, I am from the UK. Then I told him I have family in Pakistan though, in most parts of Pakistan, in Karachi as well. He told me he is from Karachi too. I said which part of Karachi? To this question he responded, from Clifton. I just smiled and said OK to him. I didn't wanted him to feel bad, that's why I didn't say anything. I was expecting him to say I am from Defense. But he went for the second choice of Clifton.
The ironic part is that everyone working on meat and other shops, always say they are from Defense etc. I have never come across a poor Pakistani working at the shops. If they were really from Defense they don't have to work at the meat shops like slaves. But then liars don't change their habits so easily.
These two are from the same clan, so I am just having a little bit of fun with them, nothing else. Otherwise, I am generally easy going man. If you ask my wife, she would say I am too chilled.
