Wrong. Blair was a very smart Barrister. Not a dumb like Noora. He covered himself. If he didn't he would have been a goner. But still people didn't buy his caveats and protested in great numbers. More than half of his own party criticised him publically.

Here people don't support criminals, even if they are from their own parties. Even the local parties disbar them.

Allooo ki dum, kamazkam me apne mulk (UK) se wafadar tu hoon. Tu appne girebaan me deekh kia tu apne mulk Pakistan se wafadar hai?
Me ne tujhe pahlee bhi samjhia tha , yaha hum jab bhi kisi cheez ko apply kartee hain, even for voter's register with local authority, we receive a diversity form, where we have to declare our origin/descend. You forgot the crane, the dandas, the ghulails, the gas masks, the blocking of road and when did they went there to overthrow the gov. And also did they took permission from the gov, gave any undertaking honored the undertaking.
