To who it may concern
Video is not showing, that's why I posted the link.
Is that a permanent policy of the forum or only
MQM supporters will enjoy that?

Hope it is going to be a permanent policy rather than a temporary glitch.
Enough of the same posts and articles hundred times over.

I am wondering what credit you r going to give MK. The same old policy of corruption, wastage of national resources on the cost of rest of the nation.
It clearly eleborate the expliotation by the "urban elite" to whom MQM reprsent.
No one can fool the nation any more.

The whole nation is deprived from the basic necessaties and infra-structures, while generating the hole wealth for the country and the only a small segment of "urban elite" is benefitted from it.

it is a cruel expliotation and they must be answerable to ALLAH on this act of human expliotation.

May Allah give all of us courage and strenth to speak truth.

Another Fraud of MQM Exposed: WEForum does't nominate MK

My Advise to MQM guys is to please get some info about any thing before starting the Appreciation/Celebration. World Economic Forum is listing "Nominated" people from around the world including 5 Pakistanis. Nomination is not done by World Economic Forum, instead any one can nominate any person, like i can nominate you and your name will be listed there. Here is the Nomination Form:

http://nomination.younggloballeaders.org/nominationform.aspx

So Please do some research before starting celebrations.

Is all the Media is biased ??

This celebration will prove to be faked as was in case of No. 2 Mayor.

Thankyou for the information about WEF.
On the other hand if the news is true lets be happy about the fact that a Pakistani with Pakistan's nationality has been recognized. Afterall he is a Pakistani first and mqm second?
By the way why is he being called 'sabik'?

If in your opinion the expliotation of the national wealth by a group to the benfits of priviliged class is an honour, then no body can help you.
You are blind enough to think about the real picture.
This expliotation is the biggest crime and ALLAH has described it in QURAN and the peoples committing or supporting it are termed as "MUNAFIQEEN". Their place is well defined in QURAN.

In the same list Muhammad Tabba, Chief Executive of Lucky Cement Pakistan got more votes than Mustafa Kamal,
this is how big a leader he is less votes than a private company director.

Samjh mei nahi aya kuch

As you had rightly pointed out that anyone can nominate anyone in the world and a vote is registered for that person.
MQM media cell using Bhatta Money, used all their agents to vote for MK but despite all that, he came at no 3, there were two more Pakistanis who had more votes than him, one state minister, one CEO of a cement company and one computer company CEO came at number 4.
There is no criteria of work, sector, achievment but just nomination for someone for your country.
Next time I am going to sit here and vote all day for Altaf Hussain, he has not reached 40 years of age, has he? Well he still behaves like a three year kid trying sell Chooran to his partymen.

Geneva, Switzerland, 3 March 2010 The World Economic Forum has announced its Young Global Leaders (YGLs) for 2010. The honour, bestowed each year by the Forum, recognizes and acknowledges up to 200 outstanding young leaders from around the world for their professional accomplishments, commitment to society and potential to contribute to shaping the future of the world.

For 2010, the Forum has selected 197 Young Global Leaders (PDF, 7 pages, 160 KB) from 72 countries and all stakeholders of society (business, civil society, social entrepreneurs, politics & government, arts & culture, and opinion & media). The new class represents all regions: East Asia (43), South Asia (21), Europe (46), Middle East and North Africa (14), sub-Saharan Africa (17), North America (38) and Latin America (18). This years selection has more gender parity than ever, with 38% women.

The World Economic Forum is a true multistakeholder community of global decision-makers in which the Young Global Leaders represent the voice for the future and the hopes of the next generation. The diversity of the YGL community and its commitment to shaping a better future through action-oriented initiatives of public interest is even more important at a time when the world is in need of new energy to solve intractable challenges, said Klaus Schwab, Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum.

Drawn from a pool of almost 5,000 candidates, the Young Global Leaders 2010 were chosen by a selection committee (PDF, 1 page, 135 KB), chaired by H.M. Queen Rania Al Abdullah of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and comprised of eminent international media leaders.

The Young Global Leaders 2010 reflect regional and stakeholder diversity. The ones from South Asia include among others, Farida Nekzad, Managing Editor and Deputy Director, Pajhwok Afghan News (from Afghanistan); Tamara Abed, Director, BRAC (from Bangladesh); Tashi Wangmo, Member of Parliament, Bhutan National Council (from Bhutan); Nadita Das, Actress (from India); Ashok Giri Durgesh, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Vindhya e-Infomedia Private Limited (from India); Manisha Girotra, Managing Director and Chairperson, UBS Securities India (from India); Agatha K. Sangma, Minister of State for Rural Development of India (from India); Tejpreet Singh Chopra, Government Relations and Strategy Development, General Electric (from India); Syed Mustafa Kamal, Mayor of Karachi (from Pakistan); Umar Saif, Founder, Saif Center for Innovation (from Pakistan); Muhammad Ali Tabba, Chief Executive Officer, Lucky Cement (from Pakistan); and Nandasiri Wanninayaka, Founder, Horizon Lanka (from Sri Lanka).

Upon being notified about his selection as a YGL this year Sriram Raghavan, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, Comat Technologies, shared, Confronting the worlds toughest issues requires a collaboration of the worlds brightest minds. The Forum of Young Global Leaders constitutes the best talent pool working on such issues and I am extremely honoured to be counted as one among them. I look forward to engaging with this community to share ideas and develop new insights on tackling deep-seated social problems in India.

The 2010 honourees will become part of the broader Forum of Young Global Leaders community that currently comprises 660 outstanding individuals. The YGLs convene at an annual summit this year it will be in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, 2-7 May 2010, the first time in Africa and the largest ever gathering of YGLs as well as at Forum events and meetings throughout the year.
These events enable YGLs to build a strong and diverse community, to engender a better understanding of the global and regional agendas and to engage in initiatives to address specific challenges of public interest (read more about YGL task forces (PDF, 6 pages, 84 KB) or visit http://www.redesignourworld.com

Reflecting on his experience as a YGL honoured in 2005, Malvinder Singh, Group Chairman, Religare Enterprises & Fortis Healthcare, said, Being a YGL has been a very enriching and rewarding experience for me. The YGL community has multicultural leaders from different walks of life around the world. The level of energy, enthusiasm, team work and commitment to make a difference continues to inspire me.
