Given the current lacunas in the elections in the Constitution and Acts, I think some changes need to be made.
1-- Elections should be Mandatory last Sunday before the end of the allotted time period i.e 60 days or 90 days, regardless of the governors signing or not.
This will eliminate the need for reaching out to the courts.
This will also help to keep the Interim government's CM/PM and other members control their desires for shashkay.
2--Police Chiefs should be elected members not selected.
3--Responsibilities of the Election commission must be clearly mentioned. He/She should not have anything to do with the date of elections.
4--All provinces should be divided up into smaller units to distribute the power and eliminate one power center. If we can have a small federal area why not smaller provincial areas.
