Musharraf slams US over bin Laden raid

DUBAI: Former Pakistani president Pervez Musharraf has slammed the United States for violating Islamabads sovereignty in carrying carry out the raid that killed Osama bin Laden, a media report said Saturday.

The former military strongman told the expatriate Pakistan community in Dubai that all peace loving people should be happy that bin Laden was killed, but no Pakistani accepted the violation of their sovereignty. No country will accept such a violation by the US, which undermines Pakistans sovereignty, army and intelligence, Musharraf was quoted as saying in The National daily. This is not acceptable to any Pakistani individual.

He should have said, we have done enough and suffered enough, we do not want to get involved in the affairs of afghanistan, we are already suffering too much so leave us with our own devices, we do not want to get involved.

And same goes all other arab countries who are used as hubs for the forces. They should have said we do not want to get involved

good leader sees the consequences at the end and does not put his country in such a position where end game will bring bad name. That is exactly is the case for pakistan.

Musharraf has great foreseight.....Idiots like u have thinking like ur leader IK........If USA had fought alone without involving pak then pak would have suffered alot coz taliban and Alqaida would have crossed border and then u had to fight alone with them coz india would have given them the space to enter afghanistan......When Alqaida and taliban had entered pak obviously USA would have wanted pak to fight against them or be ready to be attacked like Afghanistan if shown lineancy.......Pak now atleast is getting money to fight if they had to fight alone what would have happened to pak.......Be sensible and think about that......

Now talking about Musharaf and his agreeing with U.S. Look where it got Pakistan today, Mushraraf and these leaders today while they are with U.S in their minds, are most hated in the world, in U.s. today most hated country is Pakistan. it is shame full that all these leaders have brought nothing but total disrespect for Pakistan.

When we recognised Talibans ruling Afghanistan did Pakistan recognised it becuase Western govt. said so or because Pakistan wanted to recognise them, because they were fighting northern alliance and than came 9/11 and Pakistan was asked to join the fight, it started with Pakistan having to deal with northern alliance, the very people Pakistan was against as it supported Taliban, what happened, why did minority group like Alliance instead of Pashtoons got to form thre govt. so every point Pakistan was undermined and Pakistan earned nothing but disrespect, why dude.

And that is why I said pakistsni leaders were unable to handle these issues, so it was better for pakistan to say, sorry we donot want to get involved.
