Although I don't endorse what AH said, however I would like to correct you here. He was not trying to make a distinction that there are two types of generals, all he said was, if the patriotic generals of Pakistan want to end feudalism..... In my opinion he is calling all the generals patriotic. It is like when you say my dear friends, that means you are calling all your friends dear, its not that you are only talking to friends who are dear to you. I think you have fallen into the trap laid down by PML-N.
Its just my opinion, if someone wants to differ they are more then welcome to do that.

he is ' reserving a seat' with the generals in case it does happen. He wants to have a clean chit and power sharing with army.

What he doesnt realize, his subordinates in Karachi can also be hanged, may be they are the ones he is attempting to protect.

I agree with you. Altaf and MQM cannot survive without power of government. This is the only way for them to rig the elections and claim 80% votes. Otherwise they will be out of the political scene, more visible in terror scene.

From what I understand, he not willing to support feudalism anymore. And we all know damn well that if he quits government today, things will be disastrous in Karachi. PPP and PML(N), used army and state machinery to kill 1000s of kids in Karachi within a span of 1.5 years. PPP will get another reason to do that and they will do that again.
But I think its only a matter of time when he will quit.

Man I dont know about you but those were really good days for Karachi. There was Mustafa Kamal, one of the best mayors in the world who brought about some drastic changes in the city. But most importantly, I dont remember any targeted killings in Karachi in those days. At least not the way they are happening now.

So who exactly is not a qatil? PML(N) is responsible for initiating a military operation in Karachi and extra judicial killing of 1000s of kids in Karachi. Then PPP never initiated an investigation in the murder of Murtaza Bhutto.
They are all murderers except two of them used constitutional powers to do so. So I a guessing they should not be labelled "qatil".

Altaf Hussain is a gangster and his political party is nothing but a Maffia. He is completely wrong by assuming that the ills of the country can be taken care of by Generals. These brutes have ruled the country for so long and shouldn't be allowed to return once again. Ayub, Yahya, Zia, and Musharaf, hasn't the country suffered enough that idiots like Altaf started inviting new military generals. Having said that I do believe that present political leadership across the board needs to be brought to gallow. These corrupt, Godless criminals are nothing but the pest. The only question remains, who'll bell the cat?
Both military and civilian governments are total failures, so what is the solution?
A revolution, a bloody one, a complete breakdown of existing power structure.
If it happens so there might be two outcomes.
Pakistan falls in complete chaos and disintegrates or
Some viable, patriotic and potent leadership emerges from that state of wretchedness.
Believe me that would be far better to gamble than to sit and disintegrate without any strife.
Pakistan can't afford be led by blind, greedy and sold out politicians and generals.
