How many more peopel is your community going to kill before you guys are satisfied? As far as driving goes there is no dicipline in Pakistani. I have been to Karachi and I have seen people drive, its not just Pushtoon, everyone is a damn owner of the road. Pakistan1234 next time you see a Muhajir drive committing such a crime, are you going to kill him. You guys should thank your forefathers for making you guys an isolated community of Pakistan. You guys need step out of karachi and Hyderabad to see for your self how the rest of Pakistan lives.

Yes sir ; i speak for my self and all the friends i know.. migrants, non migrants.. we dont have khandans, we dont have biradiris, neither i believe in it ... and sir i am not talking about federal government... i am talking about administration of karachi... the day to day life.. police, customs, traffic, district courts, civic centre etc etc....
and if there are no good uni outside karachi then government job to make on rather than kick out a deserving student for a rural quota... and quota in government jobs and css doesn't make sense.. no wonder our bureaucracy is in deep shit

it seems u have some personal grudges for yr definition of ppl livinging in karachi.. again i say.. im not talking about oldies... how many u knw who are born karachites???? talk to them n ull get the picture of what karachites actually think.... the new generation... we are done with our fore fathers who ever they were...
I have lots of friends from Karachi and my wife side of the family all belong to Karachi. I agree with you they should hire people from Karachi in teh police, customs and other departments, I start having probelms with the defination of who belongs to karachi. We all know wha t your defination of Karachi is! All those speak Punajbi, Pushtoo, sindhi, Balouch are outsiders accorning to you peoles difniton. That is why most of friends from Karachi talk "hum loog" and "Tum Loog", you people dont care whether me being a Balouch might have lived in Karachi for several generations. But the guy who just came from across the border he automatically becomes 'hum loog", people of Muhajir decent. You get my point. People in Police may be Punjabi but if has been living i Karachi for generation has and should have the same right as a muhajir livng there, right?

wrong.... dnt knw wht kind of karchi ppl u r talking to.... my friend circle include karachi born ppl who speak punjabi pushtun and sindhi ...the common thing amngst us is education and vision for pakistan and forward looking aproach... one of my best friends is from chaghi districts.. came to my uni, studies in karachi and we went to his place on vacations....

i have one punjabi friend who constantly talks abt this topic and he feels he is alienated in karachi.... but its not us it was him who is tightly bound to ethnicity and what ever his fore fathers culture was... when ever he initiates discussion talks abt he will only marry punjabi girl and boasts abt his history and culture and that he is a rajput all that bull shit....
we the younger generations of karachi or lahore or quetta gives a fuuck about lahores history or karachis heritage or punjabi biradiri or lucknow salees urdu or what achievements our fore fathers did.. we believe in what we are doing and what we can do.... and the only history we have and we can boast about is quran and hadees.... and we beleive if we want to marry the girl being a muslim is enuff... this is the karachi im talking abt

My friend let me try to explain how I feel about this situation, I don't know if others would agree with me or not.
1. If I call my self muhajir, that does not mean I hate non muhajirs. But the feeling that I get is once we start identifying ourself as muhajirs, the non muhajirs somehow get offended. I still don't understand what is the reason, maybe you can shed some light on it.
2. Secondly I got an impression from your post, that you think muhajirs kill anyone and everyone who has different point of view then their's. Read your remark in red, it is one very callous and irresponsinsible remark. You sound like you think that muhajirs are some sort of killing machines.
3. If you are living in New York, California or Texas, you can without any problem call yourself New Yorker, Californian or Texan, because these are just geographical locations and nothing more. Whereas Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan and Pk are not only geographical locations but they represent very rich and beautiful cultures. It is not easy to adopt or assimilate into these cultures in 60 short years, it will take many decades. But in the mean time we can enjoy and share these cultures with our Sindhi, Balochi, Punjabi, Puktoon and other brothers.
Lastly I want to ask you one question, Do Punjabis, Pakhtoons and Balochis living in sindh identify themselves as Sindhis or do they still call themselves Punjabis, Pakhtoons and Balochis? Please do answer this question.

I disagree with u abit assimilating into cultures.. culture wil become obsolete in next 50-100 years with fast moving world ,global villlage and media.. culture will only be in books and tv programs.... we are following capitalism and it will slowly wipe the cultural link wth the society... the only thing left with us will be our religion and pakistan...

I have been in Florida for 26 yrs and don't call my self an immigrant, my children are born here, they call themselves as American Muslims and Floridians period. Yes I acll my self Pakistani/ American thats because i was born in Pakistan and love Pakistan. You generation like Adnan said are born in Sindh province, hence Sindhis. Mujahir is not an ethnic group it consists of different ethnicity coming from India. Why can't you be Sindhi?

My roots go back to UP but we have settled in Pindi. all my brothers and sisters speak Punjabi and we call our selves Punjabis. like u said u are americans not californians.. we are living in karachi we dont speak sindhi... we are not sindhi... our provinces are divided on ethnic basis which is the fundamental mistake.. it shud have been divided on administration basis.... khyber pakhtun khwa hazara fiasco is the lesson....
