Memogate case: Kayani submits rejoinder, says Haqqani sent memo

ISLAMABAD: Army chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani on Wednesday said in his rejoinder to the Supreme Court that Husain Haqqani had sent a memo via Mansoor Ijaz, Express News reported.
Kayanis reply also stated that Director General (DG) Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Ahmed Shuja Pasha briefed him about the memo on October 24.
Army chiefs reply further stated that he requested Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani on November 13 to call Haqqani back for an inquiry and clarify their position.
The courts nine-member bench had earlier asked the army chief and DG ISI to submit their response to replies submitted by Haqqani, Ijaz and the government.
Nawaz Sharifs reply
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif in his rejoinder stated that since no one had denied the existence of the memo, an inquiry into this matter is necessary.
It is a matter of public interest and the people of Pakistan should know who did for what and why? the reply stated.
Nawazs reply also said that the meeting between the DG ISI and Ijaz is also known to everyone now and even the conversation between them is public.

dear listen to some of the old gernals of pak army. when a decision is taken in core commonder confrence on anything every gerneral gives their openion and 99 percent decision are taken on the bases of majority. an amry gernals cant go totally to the opposite side of his own core commanders its not me saying but the old gernals of pak army.

This has been happening since 60 years. The army does not seem to be pakistani army but an occupying force who only wants pakistanis to keep paying there bills and never question them. Think big. Don't restrict yourself to personalities. Personalities are not bigger than Pakistan. If you ask for same sentence for everyone who is involved in corruption then everyone will be with you otherwise you will ask for Mushaaraf's head and someone else will ask for Kayani's head and so on.

Revolutions come with change in thinking and not the old style of thinking where your opponent is worthy of death. Think abut it.
