It is right that the amount of vulgarity and nudity has gone sky high on Pakistani channels in this Eiid programmes. The morning shows are also not true reflection of the society. It does not look like an Islamic country any more. I think liberals are succeeding in the media.

Can't agree more. That's what I always say and people in Pakistan can't digest it - Media in the western countries is much more decent than the vulgar Pakistani media. The western media does show objectionable material, however they don't do it during prime time / family time.

I often fly using different airlines, including British, US, German, Italian and Arab, and try to avoid PIA because of the level of service they provide. The last time I did travel in PIA which was almost 2 years ago, I was shocked to see the online entertainment programs, the same Indian style cheap dances and third class music. I've never seen any such programs in other airlines (I've never flown in Indian or Bangladeshi airlines so can't comment on them).

The media in Pakistan has played a huge part in spreading moral bankruptcy in the society. Of course I do understand that for a lot of people this is a very harsh word, as for them this is just standard entertainment. But I don't want arguments with people from that school of thought, I am from a different planet (an old-fashioned person).

What a comment mate, bravo. Sadly the Pakistani media made you say this by what they've been doing in Ramadhan for the last few years.

This shows how much evil is within people. Even without encouragement from the devil himself, people's own demons were enough to make them do what they did.

Another school of thought is that it is the 'Shaitan/Satan/Iblees' himself who is confined in Ramadhan but his assistants (cheelay) remain free.
