I completely agree with you that everyone is having different definition of merit. As you mentioned earlier that her Mom was given MNA seat reserved for women because she was looking after NS mom. For NS gave seat to her on merit but She would never qualified to get job in their business as a manager.

The merit for MNA is defined in election laws. Tahira Aurangzeb must have met those requirements to get elected. If not, our courts are more than willing to disqualify anyone they disdain to be up there.
