Today is Friday. As per Abbasiali bhai, today the moderators will decided how they will run the religious threads on this site. All opinion are in and feedback are geathered. A decision can come any time ....
We Pakistani muslims are all ready divided into many catagories... I think in this time of crisis we should nto be labeled as Sunni, Shia, wahabi, deobandi ect.
We all have our own faith and we are all adults responsible for our own deeds. Everyone of us is answerable himself or herself for the act he committed and faith he held so dear to himself.
Let's also remember that we are not Ullama, Mutajahid, Ayatuallah but normal people with limited knowledge. Insulting each others faith is not only disrespecting Allah but also violating Human Rights ( hakook ul abad ) which is a basic right of all of us.
Living most of my life in US and Canada, I have learned that we all might have different views about life, Islam and our faith but we have learned from these Mushreek people to respect other people's faith. Yes there are bad apples everywhere who don't agree.
You are free to go to Church, Mosque, Imambargha, Minder without name calling or insulting others. Similarly within Muslims, you can go you a sunni mosque, Imambargha, ahlahadees Mosque ect. but when we meet and greet each other, we do it with respect.
Today while driving from my office, i thought about it. Something jumped at me. Why make catagories such as:
Sunni thread, Shia thread, Wahabi thread, salfi thread ect. to disrespect each other or to lable with a sec name...we can do the same thing with RESPECT.
Let's have threads under following titles:
Muslim Fidaeen Allah and Quran....(Lover of Allah and Quran)
Muslim Fidaeen Allah and Muhammadpbuh....( Lover of Allah and Muhammad)
Muslim Fidaeen Allah, Muhammadpbuh and Ahlaybaat Muhammad pbuh( Lovers of Allah, Muhammad and his progeny)
This will not disrespect anyone or label anyone with sect and people will express their faith without fear to be labled.
