If you un-educated PTI supperters do not know let me tell you that in Pakistan when you do a business and earn profit- you get it after paying DEDUCTION AT SOURCE in shape of DIVIDEND which is actually a TAX.

& the amount Deducted at the Source, wht u call it a Divident was in between 1000 to 10000 / year from 1981 to 1999 from Shareef brothers....... & by watching a Raiwind Mahal, a poor Howker can say that these tax returns r false.. & by the way, if whole PML N is speaking truth then why dont u suit BBC who, according to u created a false documentary???

It is rubbish and joke that Ittefaq Foundry was Asian Giant. It was very old fashion foundry with a cappula furnas and small rolling mill, an estimated value was around Rs. 5,00,000. This foundry was owned by 7 partners (Mian Sharif and his 6 brothers). So you can work out per had ownership value.

Even this foundry was not qualifying for the Bhutto nationalization policy, but Ghulam Mustafa Khar is the person who influenced Bhutto government to nationalize Ittefaq Foundry. As far as I heard, G.M. Khar had some fight with a member of Sharif family in a Mujra at Lahore Red Light area, this annoid Khar a lot and he took this step, so on, God knows better.

bear in mind what Pakistani Law says about dividend double taxation

Stupid argument, If tax is liable on a dividend it has to be paid, it doesnot have to do anything with the accountant because the payment of tax is made by the management, and checked certified by Auditors and FBR. The recepient bears the BURDEN of the TAX, but it is deducted and deposited by the payer. So Idiot you are that you cannot understand an easy thing.

The way sales tax is deducted by the seller because seller is one and buyer are hundreds of thousands so it is easy for one seller to prepare documents and arrange desposit of sales tax PAID by the buyer to desposit in the Govt treasury. Similarly Company pays dividends to millions of shareholders and deduct tax on all dividends and pay on their BEHALF to the government to avoid millions of dividend tax returns.

Next time you buy anything from market say to the shopkeeper that I will pay my SALES TAX myself dont deduct 17% on my behalf, I am not going to give it to you. Phir rozana national bank jana aur sath har cheez ka chilka bhi le ker jana aur kabi 2, kabi 5, kabi 50, kabi 100 Rs ka har chez pe Sales Tax jama kerana coz rules are made to facilitate sane people not idiots like you.
