I have to ask you this daada jaan - are you okay?

dost, dont get me started on my "taaat ka school mode for you" - loosen some of the button on your tight kameez and just take a deep breath and exhale slowly - it will help to get your brain some significant amount of oxygen
Lotaa being too close to the source, his brain is accustomed to work better on bio gas.

Sana Lucha leave Imran khan alone. He is an honest man. You are criminally biased, not even near to him.

thogh sana bucha was biased towards pti. but mr laghari is not suitable person to take part in such a debate. pti should send people like imran ismail shafquat mehmood or ijaz chaudhary.i dont understand what kind of grudges she have against imran khan and pti.

I agree with you that PTI should handle media better.. but problem is you can't change something which you do not have control over .. plus if you just count the number of talk shows now days, you'll b surprised the numbers are very high .. there always are people on different shows (like Omer Cheema, Ismail etc.) but usually they're on shows which are not widely watched.. but again I will agree that PTI should work more on their media team to best of their abilities..

I respectfully disagree with your analogy of "if Imran fails to change this media setup now (while not in power), he will fail in Government too".. simply because here he or PTI does not have any authority over tv shows or media, however in Government they will have authority to bring change..

yes, you're right that organizational and management skills are tested before but in this respect, PTI has clear advantage with excellent innovations that they have brought to Pakistani politics so far (marketing tactics, making jalsa successful without giving qeemey waley naan, mobilizing youth, etc.).. its just the results we r seeing that Pakistan's two largest parties PPP & PML-N are now waking up and realizing that Pakistani youth is important, or workers should be respected and not treated as "riaya", family politics should be minimized (move of making Saad Rafique as PML-N president Punjab etc.)

I know these are pity things but why I am saying they're "significant" because never in Pakistan's history, issues or policies were discussed before elections or issues concerning youth were addressed before.. all previous elections (as far as i remember) were just used to be blame game or winning sympathy vote..

You are right - I recall when he was asked as to why he is the only one in his party who they see he complained that the media doesn't book other people - but if he claims to be the change then after his party became popular and media wants to include their people then his party should manage it better - what PTI does now will give a hint as to how it will perform IF it ever comes into power or forms a government with someone. If they seem to fail now then chances are they will fail when they form government later - if they show organization and management skills then it will be a sign that they will be able to fare better than others at governing. I think that the problem is that they are not putting young people in charge or managing their affairs (as MQM does - don't flame me for this - its a fact that MQM is one of the best at managing media and maintaining a disciplined and consistent party line).

Talat is the best anchor there is who doesn't care about ratings and tries to do objective and serious programs. There are very few others who strive to bring good and thoughtful programs - most are hacks who are there to make more money for themselves and get more popular. I see some others who try to incite their guests to fight about stupid things and let them get personal and drift far away from any objective and constructive discussion.

May be I should have explained myself better - what I meant to say was that if they fail at these important things like media management then the chances are that they will fail at other things too when they form the government - I didn't mean to make a sweeping statement. I know that there are a thousand things going on right now but imagine that there are a million things that need to be managed in a government then there are no excuses. We all hope that ALL our governments do a better job at managing things.

Completely agree with you that they are blazing new trails in the political arena - but there is always room for improvement :-) and sometime you have to prioritize the things that you need to pay special attention to......and the thing is that the standard and state of politics is so abysmal that even a small improvement seems huge. I think that the youth are capable of bringing a lot of improvement and hopefully the youth will not be sidelined in PTI as the old and traditional politicians join the party who are basically practice the kind of politics that you mentioned above.

I know these are pity things but why I am saying they're "significant" because never in Pakistan's history, issues or policies were discussed before elections or issues concerning youth were addressed before.. all previous elections (as far as i remember) were just used to be blame game or winning sympathy vote..

I agree - with some of the reservations I have about IK I still think that he may be the last hope for pakistan - since I see even a 10% improvement will be huge in a country which has become so accustomed to mediocrity, corruption, incompetence, ineptitude that just the ordinary and normal seems to be extraordinarily brilliant ;-)

lets hope against hope.....

Once sana bucha stormed up to the front desk of the library and said, "I have a complaint!"

"Yes, Ma'am?" said the librarian looking up at her.

"I borrowed a book last week and it was horrible!"

Puzzled by her complain the librarian asked "What was wrong with it?"

"It had way too many characters and there was no plot whatsoever!" said the bucha.

The librarian nodded and said, "Ahhh. So you must be the person who took our phone book."

Once sana bucha calls P.I.Aand asks, "Can you tell me how long it'll take to fly from karachi to islamabad?" The agent replies, "Just a minute..." "Thank you," the she says, and hangs up.

uss ney kaab kaha key woh kissi ko rizk dey ga, he is only talking about justice.
secondly not just nawaz shareef who was holding the office of the people of pakistan, he is taking charity for his party even today from pakistanis all over the world, can nawaz shareef get that? not even in a dream!
go and ask all these hard working, educated, highly qualified people why they are giving money to IK to spend on his party for which they are 'dar bedar' in the whole world.
These people are not going to buy your arguement, go and bring something else.
