I am sure any astute person like you would be able to pick up interviewing for a university project is not the same as a professional one. Projects are outlined and framed, not sprung as a surprise. More over the fact that Dr Moeed is going to go to the university which had given this young man with a scholarship will be able to decide if the aspiring one is right or not.
What do you think lead to such a quick pounce by Mateeullah on this topic of NATIONAL importance? I am guessing young would-be was set up this Ghaag journalist when it backfired now there is an attempt to save face.

Dr Moeed is PhD doctor and Matee-Ullah is ?

I am sure Dr Moeed knows how to educate a PhD student.

Moeed Peerzada was right that this is clandestine interview and he is right in making the complaint to his university.

This Ahmer was too quick to get a place with Matee-Ullah? what was the agenda with Matee Ullah.

Firstly Mooed Pirzada is not a PhD holder but merely an average MBBS Dr. who deserted his medical field to pursue his other interests that tells a lot about the discontinuous and visceral state of mind of this mouthpiece of Pakistani establishment pretending to be an unbiased journalist.

Secondly Mattih ullah Jan, with all of his shortcomings, remained on a single course of profession and that is pure journalism and is among the rare breed of Pakistani journalists who tend to think inward first for reformation and redress before looking for the dirty laundry of exogenous factors and incumbents responsible of that dirty mess in the society.

Both MP and MUJ possess some good and some negative traits but fact remain in tact for me at least that MUJ is more focused, consistent and unambiguous on issues which he feels seriously & strongly and MP is certainly good enough to tow the line of his feeding (In both senses of the word) masters which amounts to the capacity of a spokesperson rather than his presumed persona of a journalist.

We need to keep this prime difference distinctly clear I reckon.

Since when changing professions is to be held against a person and be used as evidence of some one's lacking abilities? absurd argument at best.
In Fact Moeed is way more talented than Mateeullah that is why he could excel in education and journalism despite change in profession. I suppose the same argument goes for Dr Shahid Masud or any one who ever thinks of changing thier profession which by the way happens a lot in the West from where the democracy has been borrowed by us.

I must confess that MUJ is one if not the most ridiculously biased mouthpeice of the mentally vacant, self centered politicians of Pakistan, which have always been ready to become a part of the establishment when it suited them and pretend to be ,Oh, so democratic when it suits them otherwise, so much for the visceral state of mind of the mouthpieces of self-serving narrow minded,egotistical politicians!

There is no explanation for being cheap, back stabbing and stage setting, which I believe Mateeullah did along with stooge wana-be.

We don't know the full story. What this guy did to tick Moeed Off. 2ndly Moeed just saw the questions like a minute before the interview, this is not like asking for questions of an interview before hand. People like Nawaz Sharif who do staged interviews get questions at least a day before interview so they can prepare. This is not like that. 3rdly, this was not an innocent interview by aspiring journalist. If that was the case, how come he had a spy cam setup.

You must know that Moeed has the full unedited video of the event and I am sure he will release the full part (or his side of the story) and then Matiullah Jan will be exposed.

BTW, I used to have respect for MUJ. But then I saw his performance as a guest on one of the shows after Pemra Private members banned Geo and he was absolutely pathetic. He was ridiculing and cross questioning and talking over other people all in support of Geo. If he has a pro-Geo position I have no issue with that but the pathetic way he was conducting himself, even non of Mir Shakil-Ur-Rehman employees would do that. Now I know who this idiot is.
