Lahore Ki Chaman Ice-Cream

I went to Chaman first time in my life in 1984 in my school days.
That time in Lahore Chaman had only one ice cream parlour on Beadon Road. Those days its ice cream quality was excellent still its not bad and I visit it regularly but now I go to its new branch on Shaukat Ali Road because it is near my home.
First time in 1984 when I visited Chaman with my friend we ate mango ice cream, on the top of ice cream there was Rooh Afza and there were pistachio and almonds in the ice cream.
What a beautiful days those were aah. Kash we get the peace of those days again.

wow..you have some good memory...Insha Allah, those days will be back someday, dunno when and whether we will be alive but lets pray soon and in our lifetime..(bigsmile)

You should be careful in eating Ice Cream made from the milk sold in Lahore. Pakistanis are killing their future generations giving them such milk. There is no pure milk available in Lahore. A recent PCSIR (Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research) report discloses that there is adulteration of milk with Urea, melamine, Formalin, Penicillin and many other things in Lahore.

because they don't read Quran with translation and don't realize what big sins these things are
and I think in order to be considered a muslim, you have to believe in one God, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) being the last prophet, believe in day of judgement, give zakah and pray...as long as they do it, I think they are probably still considered muslims just not good muslims..(serious)

It is fact, 70% milk is not pure. It is beyond a TV programme. Pakistan is producing 17 billion litres of milk but consumes 30 billions. The difference is prepared with pastel colors.... shampoo and oil.

and backbiting is a biiig problem in our society..according to a hadith, backbiting is like eating the flesh of your dead brother..so I suppose we are involved in much worse! btw are you ok? You sound a little depressed?

I don't think such people have believe in day of judgment.

because they don't read Quran with translation and don't realize what big sins these things are
and I think in order to be considered a muslim, you have to believe in one God, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) being the last prophet, believe in day of judgement, give zakah and pray...as long as they do it, I think they are probably still considered muslims just not good muslims..(serious)

well that I don't know..I haven't read the whole Quran with translation..but so far I haven't come across anything which says these people are non-believers..

I think one of the biggest disadvantages of not having arabic as our first language is that people don't know what they are reading when they reciting quran or namaaz..and a lot of people probably don't get their kids to learn urdu translation..considering how poor the majority of our nation is, the state of some of our madrasas and child labour, a lot of them probably don't get much chance at a normal religious education where your everyday mullah doesn't promote extremism..
